Why don't they do something about their own situation instead of complaining about how great America is? No one told them to embrace inferior systems of government and economics, that was entirely their own fault.

It's not like there's any huge secret about how we do it. The recipe is there for anyone to see: It's called the US Constitution.

It's been awhile since I've done jury duty and the last time I did it, I believe I called in several days and sat the entire time just waiting for my number to be called before getting released, not even making it to a trial. What are the odds of me calling in daily and having to go in and sit all 4 days of my time without going to trial - does that happen often? I just want to be prepared with stuff in case I do have to sit all day long waiting.

How exactly does the WOFT program work for someone trying to join straight out of High School? (A summary would be great, but a good link works too)

Thanks.

It just seems that our country was being ran by a few people-the Iraq war -Shinseki was right -the current adm. is very naive about the world.

What qualifications/training do you have to go through to become a USMC sniper? How long is the training? I would prefer answers from people who actually were snipers in the military or people who know a lot about the subject.

About a month ago I got pulled over for going 71 on a 55 in Georgia. (16 over). I was late getting home one night, sped up to pass someone in the right lane, and crossed over. I just recently got my court date and a fine of 125. I'm going to have to ask to reschedule my court date because I will be away, but I am definitely planning on showing up. This should put two points on my license, but I've been driving for a little less than 6 months and want to do everything possible to get those points off. Any suggestions of what to do, or comments of experience?
There's always the chance of the police officer not showing up, but I'd rather not depend on that.
Someone also told me I can talk to him before we go into court, and he might reduce my speed to 15 mph over. If he did, I wouldn't have two points put on my license. But, I'm also not sure if I can talk to him before hand.
Advice?

I just thought that was the worst thing I had ever heard. How would a state with 3 million people only have one abortion clinic???? It seems so unfair not to have abortion clinics accessable to all women!

My cousin missed two other appearances years ago, just paid a fine at the time and nothing has ever happened to him like a warrants etc. He's also had another citation recently and encountered a police officer for identification and there was no warrant or arrest...just a notification of a fine in the mail, that he has to pay in 2 months.
Can you get an extension for the date that the payment of the fine is due?? Who do you contact?
