No, since Bush is failing in Iraq, he has started to spin the Iran issue and say they are the problem now. It was Bush's intelligence that said Iraq was the problem...flip flopper for sure, since the Iranians can't stand the Iraqis in the first place. Bush just needs to admit he made a mistake and start the diplomacy.

I think it was decided before the troops surge was announced. With troops on the ground and air power collecting in the Persian Gulf it is only a matter of time before we strike Iran. It may only last a day or three but I do believe it's coming. Why else would the rhetoric be getting ratcheted up? President Bush, I think, is determined to at least bomb a few of Iran's nuclear facilities.

I think certain elements of the administration have come to the conclusion that conflict with Iran is inevitable. That's not the same thing as 'deciding' to attack, or wanting to. And it is certainly a debatable conclusion.
