Everything is illegal in Toronto, and believe me I know. Yeah, you could buy the stuff all over the place, but its all illegal. Canada has some weird laws. Even pepper spray is illegal, yea, you can carry, "bear spray", but it has to say bear spray on it, as if an actual bear is going to attack you while walking on Dundas street. Of course the criminals and thugs carry whatever they want, because they don't care. And like I posted eairler in another question, I will do whatever I can to defend and protect myself and loved ones, and while in T.O. I do carry weapons, actually I carry weapons no matter where i am at. I am a firm believer in one thing,,,""I rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6"",,plain and simple.

The Asp...or Asp Baton is an instrument often used by law enforcement and once a more popular device used to subdue unruly subjects. However, since Tazer, many no longer use the baton.

As far as I've been able to find....the Asp is NOT illegal in Canada, however, if concealed could be an offense under Canadian law.

Therefore...your best bet is to contact your local RCMP or Police unit to obtain the information straight from the experts!

Best wishes.
