According to the UN & its wolrd leaders we are the only super power. We lead in all financial standing & we are the country that everyone whines to when they are under attack or fear they will be attacked. The only place we are not considered #1 is in our own liberal countrymen. That is sad considering the sacrifice made so they could express such ideas. I will always support the USA & pray for it. Does the USA make mistakes - without a doubt but it does not change it's standing, it just gives it an area to work on. Or we could just set back & let the world destroy itself - if we spent the money the wars cost us, I think we could build bomb shelters. When the time came we could defend the US & stay in shelters till safe & have the world to ourself. Is that what you had in mind?

We still are the most powerful country in the world. We just don't have any money!
The only way to get out of debt is to up the taxes, close the loop holes of the wealthy, stop spending on great walls of Mexico etc.
There is much pork spending in the government & both Houses must be willing to go after that pork, even if it hurts their chances for re-election. Most people understand this, but it is the Industrial complex that wants those pork projects. They make millions. Any halfwit knows that you can't keep spending what you don't have cause the bill is going to come, sooner or later.

We have to stop bullying other countries and be willing to have open discussions with the leaders of these countries like Iran and North Korea. We have got to make a huge effort to work side by side with everyone and be peaceful. We have to realize that not every single country needs democracy. We have to work to end our dependence on oil and become more eco friendly. We have to educate the nation in order to end or at least lessen poverty. We also need a nationalized health care system so that everyone is covered. I strongly believe education is the key to ending racism, poverty, and all around narrow mindedness.

I think the education system needs to be looked at first, it needs to be adjusted to fit the 21st century.
The lack of intelligence in America is shocking. Too many states are allowed to keep courses in vocations when these jobs are clearly being shipped out. More courses need to be started in technology and innovation. More emphasis on critical thinking, business and languages.
Also I think immigration is good for us, but I would propose opening the doors to the well educated and eager to work Eastern Europeans that the Western half is rejecting and subjecting to xenophobic tendencies. We need to attract good talent for our universities and industries and support it.
