Fat contracts for those companies supporting the war and the rebuilding effort. Billions are still missing, but it's not on the front pages, and an opportunity to move forward with the Project for a New American Century. BushCo got the Pearl Harbor they thought the American People would need to support an offensive operation in the Middle East.
Offense is Defense. Slavery is Freedom.

Probably isn't right, but I have this odd little conspiracy theory that makes me laugh. Remember the whole "Saddam, my father sends his regards"... and Bush believing his whole family had been wronged because of the whole thing with Bush Sr. and Saddam? Yeah. I totally think it's more of a vendetta thing. "You screwed with my family, I'm gonna screw with your entire country" :P Probably not true, but it makes me laugh. I mean, it would be the ultimate in revenge to become the president and screw up someone's entire country over a personal grudge. Hmm. Think I'll run next election! Vote for me :D
