It was a very respectful question, in which I was seeking a real answer, to an issue that has puzzled me. They didn't post it at all. How can this be fair? What so now they pick and chose what to post from questions? They've also been sending me violations on Qs or As that by now way are violating. I mean I'm the first to admit it when I've committed a community guide violations, but sometimes it's just NONSENSE. I complained to them many times now, and they still haven't responded! The question in question was about the Jewish and Muslim Faiths. So can I do something?

Why is it every single time I look in the Politics and Government section all I ever see is Democrats complaining about President Bush or throwing around slander about Republicans. Don't you people have anything better to talk about such as how stem cell research can help our future? I'm a Republican and I actually side 'for' stem cell research and for once I'd like to see a Democrat say something intelligent other then "Bush Sucks" or "Who would make a better President?". You don't see Republicans running around screaming, "Nancy Pelosi is the devil!" or any such nonsense. (And no, this question is not me talking slander on Democrats so please don't try and tell me that I'm being a hypocrit.) All I'm asking for is if you want to say something regarding the Presidency say something intelligent other then Bush sucks please.

I was under the impression that Amedinijad was more of a figurehead than anything in Iran and that the real power lies with Khameini. So why is the media focusing so much on Amedinijad?

His inspirational revolution, Bolivarian revolution, is stopping the south from being just the back yard of the US.

His extraordinary popularity amongst Africans, Middle Easterners and nearly all of South America is something to behold. Why do people keep telling lies about him and the successes this man has achieved?

I am interested in learning and understanding how gay marriage could hurt the institution of marriage...from a legal standpoint. I understand how many could feel that it would make a farce of the institution, but I'm interested in learning about the legal implications. Afterall, how can something be banned on a moral level?

In 2005, President Chávez initiated a program to provide cheaper heating fuel for poor people in several areas of the United States. The program was expanded in September 2006 to include four of New York City's five boroughs, earmarking 25 million gallons of fuel for low-income New York residents this year at 40% off the wholesale market price. That quantity provides sufficient fuel to heat 70,000 apartments, covering 200,000 New Yorkers, for the entire winter. It has also been reported that Chavez is sending heating oil to poor, remote villages in Alaska. Some have questioned the motives of this generosity. Legislative leaders in Maine have asked that state's governor to refuse the subsidised oil,[83] and New York Daily News criticized his offer by calling him an "oil pimp."

i could post thousands and thousands of examples of documentation that seems to indicate that the greater iraqi popuation is in fact far worse off then when good ol' saddam was in power....sure a few folks might get beheaded or executed in the public square from time to time, but that's how they roll in the dirty middle east. at least with saddam around these poor citizens could hit the market and do a little shopping without a good chance of getting shrapnel in the face. worse violence in a much more random manner on a much, much larger scale. now dying is much more of a possibility for the average iraqi than it was under hussein.

are they still considering the U.S. a rghteous liberating force or what?? please twist the facts around and defend this little debacle, you blind followers of the dubya regime. just like your hero slimy condi would do to perfection. this ought to be amusing.

China executes more people than the rest of the world combined. The courts have >99% conviction rate, people on trial are frequently denied due process of law and people who are arrested are frequently tortured ("reeducated"). Groups such as Falun Gong and the people of Tibet are brutalized into submission. China also supports dictators in Africa and the Middle East. And yet the US turns a blind eye to all of this and looks only at the business it can do with China. When is the US going to wake up and get tough on the Chinese government over its human rights record?

I asked a question about whether divorce should be banned and it was a pretty strong consensus that we should not ban divorce.

Supposedly gay marriage hurts the institution of marriage.

Divorce obviously hurts the institution of marriage.

If one can be banned should we also ban the other?
