The current Democrat Party Chief didn't like what F.D.R. did to protect America in World War 2.

I started voting Republican last year.

The Democrat party is no longer run by Democrats. The party has been taken over by 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's hippies that have grown up. Pelosi is a true hippy. Just look at her voting record when she was working in San Francisco in the 1980's.

If you studied the history of politics you would know that historically both Democrats and Republicans never liked hippies.

C'mon folks... I mean, you've had to thought about the implications of such a scenario right? I'm not going to even go into China and Russia scenarios but just the radiation fall out along and the exposure it would have on our troops in Iraq.
Please tell me my fellow countrymen are smarter than that!!

A muslim leader is on record stating they do not recognise our democracy and that in any case the country belongs to Allah and not us.My question is that with such a grave threat to democracy why do our guardians of democracy,(parliament) ignore the threat.

"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

Many times during the Bush Admin, many govt websites have had to take down info about supposedly bad effects of abortions after the medical community found out about it. So everything the antis said was a lie, as expected.

So now, some are saying that a legal abortion is as dangerous as a coathanger one. Abortion is the safest medical procedure known, and is safer than childbirth.

So why do these lies keep popping up?

I've heard some conservatives claim that liberals lack moral responsibility. I find this rather interesting. Some of these folks like to keep bringing up Clinton's marital infidelity, but they seem to have conveniently forgotten about Newt Gingrich's leaving his cancer-stricken wife for his mistress and Mark Foley's indiscretion with teenaged interns. Also, taking care of the environment is something that affects everyone, and not just a few. However, some conservatives express little or no interest in this. Also, a lot of conservatives like to say that abortions should be outlawed, because women should take more responsibility when it comes to their sex lives. This may be true, but as much as the right-wingers rail on about the rights of the unborn, they don't want to pass legislation that would benefit the children who are already born. Is it really morally responsible to rail against public schools instead of trying to improve them and giving kids a better chance at succeeding?

Is it really our business who they get married to? Sure, I don't care if you think God hates gays, but to force it on them to change. Everyone has rights to do what they want, people shouldn't be able to take those rights away. This is supposed to be a free country.

Should we ban divorce, or ban divorcees from remarrying because they are immoral and hurting the institution of marriage?

I think we should work to get a divorce ban on the ballot in every state. It will stipulate a divorce cannot be granted unless abuse was involved.

We cannot allow these immoral people to devalue marriage any longer.

After each incident which was usually by ourself I would tell someone and occasionally someone would hear him say nasty things and they would tell me to go to higher management but I was scared I would lose my job because my boss was going to set up someone in my office to be fired and if he knew that I said anything he would retaliate. Now the employees are on the boss' side because they are scared that they will lose their job. I don't want to quit because I love my job and I did nothing wrong. I documented everything and gave it to the owner, and my boss got a slap on the wrist and I moved down the hall and now they are trying to push me out so that is why I went forward to get a lawyer. My boss is saying we all joked around but I was flirtacious. No way, I treated everyone with respect.

LONG BEACH, Calif. Feb 3, 2007 (AP)— Four of nine black teenagers convicted in the racially charged beating of three white women on Halloween were sentenced to probation Friday.

Punishment could have ranged up to confinement in a California Youth Authority lockup until age 25. The teens were ordered to serve 250 hours of community service, 60 days house arrest, and take anger management and racial tolerance programs.

The victims appeared in court earlier this week to tell the judge about the impact of the assault on their lives.

One of them suffered facial fractures in the beating, and deputy district attorney Andrea Bouas told the court she was having surgery Friday.

In her earlier victim impact statement she indicated she has psychological wounds, too.

"I'm not sure if all the emotional scars will ever completely vanish," she said. "I feel like the beating I endured on Halloween night is still not over."
