Is it really our business who they get married to? Sure, I don't care if you think God hates gays, but to force it on them to change. Everyone has rights to do what they want, people shouldn't be able to take those rights away. This is supposed to be a free country.

Well honey you should know by now who runs our country don't make it fair or free! Oh we can say and do what we want but it will bite us in the a**!
There is nothing wrong with gay marriage its better they are married instead of spreading disease no offense. It is just another way the govt can say no no no!! Since they are all so righteous but look VP Chaney daughter is a lesbo and he has to stand by her with his fake smile and act right wh ycan't he do that for other gays???

First: I support the gays' right to marriage, or at the very least civil union! That said, the people who want to ban the very possibility of it are a) afraid of change, in the same way that states which banned interracial marriage were, and b) being distracted by this example of a "moral issue" from the bigger moral issue of us invading other countries.

Because the people in control of our government are pretentious bastards that need to see a doctor to have the stick removed from thier a**es. This just goes to show how religion and relgious leaders still control alot of the inner workings of the government. Who cares if gays get married, what business is it of ours who marries who. Why put a roadblock on peoples happiness?!?!

I am gay and I say leave marriage to the straights, if gays are given civil unions with the same benefits, who the hell cares? Let the straights have their marriage and let's tell the militant fringe of the gay community to put a sock in it.

cause the notion of religious freedom is dead in this country. Freedom of religion now means freedom to adhere to a narrow interpretation of Puritan style Christianity.

when govt alllows incestial marriage and 3 way marriage and all you goody goodies are fighting for it, then ill be for gay marriage. same difference. you dont mention economics surrounding gay marriage. paying out social security, ins bennies and med ins will be in question. 1 man 1 woman period. like i said, i bet you ppl wont stump for socialally immoral marriages i e 3 ways so give it a rest

its not really a matter of should they be "allowed" to get married , its more of a matter of defining it with the word "marriage"
