President Bush allocated $125 million to 'assist' the workers who worked at Ground Zero. When the funds weren't being used fast enough, the federal government took back $100 million of those funds. Now our people we called our heroes are dying of cancer and other ground zero illnesses. What kind of a pathetic country is this we're living in when these men and woman can't even pay for their medical treatment? We'll spend billions to kill foreign enemies and nothing to our heroes. What the hell?

I applied for a state ID and I filled out the voter registration part of the form. I received my ID today, 10 days later.

When do I get my voter's registration card? How would I know if I'm registered to vote, is there a way to check?

Is John McCain a conservative in RHETORIC Only. He was well know as a GOP rebel in the Senate, but he now seems to be pandering to the conservative wing to win the Nomination. Shouldn't he just state his opinions and ideas instead of morphing to a desired group to win?

Just recently a few liberals called for "global warming deniers" to be fired from their jobs and jailed. Doesn't the fact that "global warming deniers" even exist mean THERE IS NO CONSENSUS ON GLOBAL WARMING!?!

The only consensus that exists is among liberals. Non-liberals opinions don't matter, libs just plug their ears and shout "consensus".

An international body to police environmental issues. Honest to God, if the US cedes so much as one iota of sovereignty to some hare-brained scheme like this, I'll start agreeing with the people who say it's time for a second American Revolution.

Wouldn't you expect a president who claims to love the troops to send in extra supplies (tanks, guns, etc) simultaneously as he sends in thousands of extra soldiers?

Our president has a VERY idiotic plan. Now do you conservatives see why we call him an idiot?

Will the conservative wing vote for a more "liberal" member of the Grand Old Party (GOP) to represent them in the General Election if he has the best chance of winning. Giuliani is pro gun control, pro-choice and he doesn't hate homosexuality. Will conservatitives compromise if it means victory for the White House?

Okay, I rent a room from this guy. He is never there, but he will just POP in without notice; he may be gone for a week, maybe a day.He is a neat freak and expects everything to look like a model home at all times. We can't even sit on the couch when he is home. Long story shortened he gave us a thirty day notice to move, claiming that he is selling the house. He said he needs to fix up things and get the place ready to sell. He gave a similar story to a roommate when he evicted her, claiming he needed room for the holiday's. I know he is lying to us and just wants his house back, but it is inconvienant to now need to move. I pay my rent every month and follow the rules. I feel he has no reason to evict me. Do I have any recourse against him? PLease help.

In a country of just 22 million peoples, 5 million have escaped to Oman, Jordan. Not to mention Syria and Iran. These I might add are the most able and educated Iraqis.

Nearly a million have been killed in 3 years of occupation. The majority left are the less educated, children, women and the less physically able and no doubt the insurgents.

This paints a scenario where Bushco can simply overwhelm the country and take over it's resources with the help of the Puppet Regime.

One fly in the ointment.... The surrounding countries are not going to make this happen. Am I anywhere near the button?

A jury cleared two animal rights workers of animal cruelty charges Friday for euthanizing cats and dogs they took from shelters, but both were convicted of littering for dumping the carcasses in a trash bin.

"It's a disgrace," said Andrea Press, a member of Responsible Dog Owners of Eastern States. "PETA preaches to everybody not to hurt and kill animals. They just proved it's OK for them to do it. They're hypocrites."

"The important thing is the jury recognized they were never guilty of cruelty," PETA spokeswoman Kathy Guillermo said. "We're relieved, we're happy."

The animals were picked up from several shelters North Carolina. The pair testified they euthanized the animals in their van to relieve the animals' suffering. They said they disposed of the bodies in a garbage bin rather than drive them back to Virginia because the stench.
