In Mexico, one can occasionally get out of a bit of minor legal trouble by offering a small bribe to a police officer. In the United States, on the other hand, trying to slip a $20 bill to a police officer who just pulled you over for speeding is much less likely to be an effective tactic. My question is for police in the United States: Have you ever had a Mexican, or someone from another country where it is common to bribe police, commit the cultural gaffe of trying to offer you a bribe? If so, how did you handle it?

That way we could oust an unsatisfactory leader and not suffer through it all until the bitter end of a four year block of time. If that did not work, we could try something else. We need to be flexible. In addition, I think that there would be more politicians of quality hovering around, waiting for a chance, never knowing just when they might be needed. That sounds like a much livelier political scene to me... and very refreshing.

What do you say?

I work with a disabled adult that was molested by her brother for years and beat and burnt ect now its over and she has a boyfriend. i found out from outside sourses that he was previously married ( she didnt know ) and arrested for raping his former wife and 7year old step daughter and went to jail for it and now is out. I told her what I knew and she was happy to break off with him yet she told her social worker and now im fired for discloseng privledged info . BUT we all get to know when a sex offender lives in our neighborhood . dont disabled adults get to know a person is a molester even if he isnt on the offender list because he too is slightly disabled. She was engaged to this guy, i would hate to know she married him and got raped or that any children they had got raped.. And I knew it but didnt tell. Family members disclosed the information to me so I know its true. My boss thinks I got it from the agency but thats not true I dont have access to that

I plan on enlisting in the Marines soon and would really prefer to be stationed in Japan, is there anyway that you could somehow get that preference? I know that it is ultimately not my choice and I will be put anywhere but more for future reference. Just a add on to the question above.

You give all the ID you have, open the account, put money in, then when you need to draw a big amount out you need ID all over again. I dont have a passport a driving licence so It is always a big palarva for me, but why should I pay a passport for example, if I never travel abroad. I was born and bred in this country and used to exist!

My friends kids told me there mom had sex in front of them 3Yr and 6 yrs I know she has been neglecting them and I have been picking up the slack so she won'tget in trouble(putting a man before her kids alowing him to do whatever to the kids). But I feel this was the last straw I had a long talk with her I gave her 5days to straighten up her life or I would call ss,she said her mom taught her to keep a man happy no matter, what mind you while he was on top and the kids were looking he told them to turn around, the 3yrs was able to go into graphic details such as using the f word and doggy stlye.he told her if I reported her to say the kids walked into the room and they stopped and went to sleep, but when the bf was not present we disscuss how wrong she was for doing it. I was told by someone it makes no sense to report it becuase I did not see it with my own eyes.so it's illigal to fight in front of kids but legal to have sex in front of them.some let me know if this is illigal.

President Chavez celebrates 8 years of elected (not selected)power tomorrow. He is a hero to millions of people in and out of Venezuela.

Bush however commands the respect of NO ONE.... Can you argue with that? I look forward to it.

I paid for a engine on ebay from a seller named-daallstar1-aka Jacob Phillips. The engine (B18c5) was for my sons graduation present. He has a 94 Civic ex. This seller said that he was closing his import business and that he'd let me get it for what he got it for $1300.00. He agreed to 1/2 up front and the balance on receipt of the motor. He called us back from this cell number 4 times. Now he has disappeard with the money. The phone wont go thru now either ,so now i'm seeking help to get our money back or the proscute this jerk. My son has been thru to much to let this guy get away with this. Can some one help us track this thief down.

I have been speaking with a recruiter about joining the Army. Have not set up a date to take ASVAP and go to MEPs yet, though I know it's coming up soon. I know their preference for people who are not on psychoactive drugs--so I neglected to tell him that I have been taking Klonopin (a benzodiazepine) as a sleep aid for a few years, but can easily stop taking the drug. However, I'm worried about how I will be tested at MEPs. Will the test come out negative because of this? How long will it take to leave my system once I've stopped taking the medication?

and we have very sketchy information from the Detective's Bureau. We've called the Police Dept four times today to speak with a homocide detective just to have some information.
Being that they're unable to return our calls as soon as we'd like, (they have been very courteous to us, just not calling back) is there a possible suggestion to find out information via news media from the city of Milwaukee? Does anyone have any ideas?
