My friends kids told me there mom had sex in front of them 3Yr and 6 yrs I know she has been neglecting them and I have been picking up the slack so she won'tget in trouble(putting a man before her kids alowing him to do whatever to the kids). But I feel this was the last straw I had a long talk with her I gave her 5days to straighten up her life or I would call ss,she said her mom taught her to keep a man happy no matter, what mind you while he was on top and the kids were looking he told them to turn around, the 3yrs was able to go into graphic details such as using the f word and doggy stlye.he told her if I reported her to say the kids walked into the room and they stopped and went to sleep, but when the bf was not present we disscuss how wrong she was for doing it. I was told by someone it makes no sense to report it becuase I did not see it with my own eyes.so it's illigal to fight in front of kids but legal to have sex in front of them.some let me know if this is illigal.

Are you crazy? Of course you report even the slightest suggestion of sexual abuse to the police and to Child Protective Services. If you don't report it IMMEDIATELY, you are no better than she is.

Stop crying and do your civic duty. The only thing that matters here is the safety of those children.

If you report to SS they will investigate, this will include asking the children questions directly. Experienced investigators can generally tell from a child's story where the general truth lies. Typically, the story of a child will take precedence over an adult story (who is likely going to cover their/friends rear). Dr.s teachers, and other professionals are required to report suspected abuse. They don't have to prove it-only the suspicion of abuse. I would advise that it's better to be safe than sorry-so report it. You may loose this person as a friend, but save a child from abuse.

If the children told you about the incident, I think it would be wise to report it. You could say that the children were describing a situation and using words that they should not know about at that age, and that you felt you needed to intervene.

Are there any marks on the children, or other signs of abuse? Then report the matter IMMEDIATELY.

Call child protective services regardless of what her or her boyfriend is saying. Having sex in front of your kids is just ******* sick.

Whether they do anything about it is up to them. You have done your part. If they ask you any questions be cooperative. Realize that the friend (the kids mother) probably won't be friends with you anymore. However, if I were you, I don't think I'd want to associate with someone who acts like that.

Please, please, please! Call Child Protective Services. Not the police. Tell them exactly what you have told us here. You must do this NOW. Do not wait. Do the children have a father? What's up with him? Try to get ahold of their father if he is a good guy or if you know him. Get those kids out of there. They deserve better than that. And YOU deserve a better friend than that. If she was any kind of a friend she would not put you in this position much less her children. Don't wait. Do it now. CPS is probably under Department of Human Services or call 411

my son and some other kids come running in the house to tell me that the next door neighbor came running around out side naked and yelling hey sexy to my 13 yr old other neighbor.. I called the law here in TN. and they said they couldn't do anything because an adult didn't see it.... HOW STUPID IS THAT...
you could still report her to DHS and they could check in on them and keep an eye out ( maybe )
