I think George Bush is a fine leader and a great president. Our economy is booming, unemployment is at an all time low. Iraq is a problem, but both houses of congress authorized the war on the basis of the same info the President had. History will be kind to GWB.

I for one am a big supporter of the Bush administration. In a time of complete chaos he supported our country tremendously. People who critisize him for going to war with Iraq, I have two responces: if Bush didn't go to war with Iraq he would have been scrutinized and left the US open for attack from other countries (ie. made us look weak and vulnerable), or he could have went to war with Iraq and help them set up a sound government and still be scrutinized. In my eyes it was better for him and us, as well, to have gone to war with Iraq because he made us stronger and more dignified, helping another country set up a democracy and also to secure our soil as well. Don't even get me started on the No Child Left Behind Act. It has improved our childrens test scores by amazing percentages (Im too lazy to look up exact numbers but o well.) Some may argue that we are making the children that can't think like the "normal rate learners" take the same tests as the "normals" and with no help, but it makes schools strive to teach better and to increase test scores and the intellect of our future to have the government fund the schools activity. I believe that the Bush administration has done an excellent job, even though I dont believe in some of his platforms (ie. marriage is between a man and a woman). I think that gay marriage should be legalized, as a straight woman, because we are all entitled the max amount of liberty as long as it doesn't conflict with others natural rights. I think that the arguements that dont agree with gay marriage are religiously based and will not stand the test of time. Mainly because the Buddhist religion approves of gay marriage and believes that they should have the ultimeate authority to decide who they want to spend their life with. It would be perfectly fine for me to go to Vegas on my eighteenth birthday and marry the first "sugar daddy" I saw and it would be fully within the law. But some "gays" can be together for fourty or fifty years and be completely virtueous and "in love" and it be legal. The fact of the matter is that you are not going to stop gay relationships from being around by not allowing them to marry. The only difference between legalizing it is to allow everyone to see the commitment on their ring finger.

If he needed help changing a tire I would help him and his pick-up truck. I think he is leading the country the wrong way, and is too stubborn to admit his mistakes. Nice guy, but a poor leader.
