He did a super job of addressing the Democrats and working towards non-partisanship. Even Ms Pelosi said he did a good job of sending a positive message.
What could it hurt that he was there? Relax...President Bush is more of a gentleman than your friends at the coffeehouse want you to think he is. :)

probably wasn't a bad idea or a good idea. This is the first time since 01 that he has bothered to go. yes everyone agreed that he done good and all. but do you really think he will take anything they said or suggested at heart? or did it just go in one ear and out the other? People on here was saying that the dems will probably end up backstabbing him, but the dems does not have to do that. he does a good job of that himself. please people give credit where credit is due. Bush's rep has nothing to do with the dems, its all bush.

Retreat?? Well, if he can stand it, I guess we can. It's probably a good idea because they can fight amongst themselves and the public or media can't see it all. Tell ya though, they all need to get on the same page, that's for sure. I think it'll help as long as all he(( doesn't break loose. THAT would have all the ingredients of WW III. Good question. :>)

It doesn't matter as he is going to do what he wants to do regardless of what Congress or the Senate have to say. Bush is on a course that might take this good old World as we know it into a Nuclear Holocaust just so he can have his own way.

It's a wonderful idea. Bush and his cronies are in full retreat as it is.

They will whip up on him like a rented mule. He's only going because he thought it would be yet another vacation. As always, he will be a child among men (and women.)
