Yahoo!Answers places random questions (supposedly) from famous people (Danny Glover, Alyssa Millano, President of India) and usualyl these questiosn are sponsored by UNICEF in an attempt to push their pretentious liberal agendas.

My two questions are:

1 - What can be done to stop these retarded celebrities from posting their hipocritcal questions? (celebrities only care about a social ill when is it fashionable or they need their name in the news)

2 - Last year UNICEF ran polical cartoons featuring the Smurfs being slaughters by bombs. How can we save the Smurfs and hold UNICEF accountable for liberal bias and the genocide of Smurfdom?

I mean seriously, I thought we had the best military in the world. The other night on the news they showed a terrorist firing a rocket, and he wasnt even wearing shoes!!

We are really getting our butts kicked out there. Are the troops really trying their best?

I am tired of watching my neighbors go on ocean cruises and enjoying luxuries when my life is one of constant fighting for survival. I have lost my faith in this country. I'm tired of the struggle. I am disabled and unable to work. And by the way- anyone considering ENLISTING-let my post be a warning how YOU'LL be treated by YOUR so-called government after you return from war.

Does anyone feel that prisoners were treated better than they are now? What affect do you think the media plays in all this?

Imagine some set of ruthless values for me please. Any set you like.

Now imagine a set of Christian-like values. One YOU think is interesting.

Now, please tell me.
Which is more useful to the American citizen?
The ruthless set of values you selected?
Or the Christian-like set of values you selected?

And, this is a separate question of course, but; which do you teach your kids?
And isn't this a more serious matter than say- development age and portraying Santa Claus?

You've decided that you have to move to another country, that you can not live anywhere else but this country. In this country, the law states that killers and rapists etc are NOT bad people so they dont go to prison and they are treated with respect - loved for who they are and in some cases worshiped for their beauty.

Would this not make your skin crawl?; To be told that these bad people are treated with more respect than your average pet? Put in this situation, would you respect the law and treat these people like you would any other - not feel anxious around them or angry with people for the way they treat these people?

Now imagine that these people arent actually killers etc, they're women.
Or imagine that these people are black.
Or imagine these people are very very poor and you are from a upper class background.

Remember - where you're from these people are treated as convicts etc.

How would you feel & would you stand up for what you believe in or stand or not?

....in society to have a chance at success.

Success is widely-defined, but the PM is talking along the lines of
succeeding at education, careers, starting your own business, social participation, the arts...

Going by rough figures since the Second World War, can you indicate whether this is true?

I can give one indicator which suggests it is not. The proportion of places at top universities going to middle/upper-class students is increasing. You can think of reasons why: in the 1960s, grammar schools ensured intelligent, poor children got into university. Their numbers have been cut back, hence fewer intelligent, poor children going into higher education.

This is one of my questions for my online school:
During the Spring and Summer of 2004 the Supreme Court had a case brought to it about the Pledge of Allegiance which they refused to consider allowing the lower courts decision to stand about the Pledge. The Pledge was brought to court because some people believe it is violation of Church and State to have students in school recite it because of the phrase ‘under God” which is located in it. The lower court decision was that the Pledge was not unconstitutional or a violation of Church and State and the U.S. Supreme Court agreed with that decision. Our activity on the Pledge is not on the decision but on the words that we have all been saying for years. Using any resource you can tell us what the 11 parts of the Pledge mean:

I pledge allegiance?

to the flag?

of the United States?

of America?

and to the Republic?

for which it stands?

One nation, under God?

indivisible?

With Liberty?

and Justice?

for all?

Thanks!

I am a woman and I think men who pay child support for children later proven not to be theirs should receive compensation. Am I wrong?
A paternity test would establish paternity from the beginning and eliminate alot of hurt later on down the road.

I was going 96 in a 70. The officer wrote it as reckless driving. I can't pay it online for some reason, so I was thinking maybe I have to go to court. But, if I signed the ticket pleading guilty and mailed the fine for speeding 96 in a 70, would that put an end to this? And, another question..if I go to court, do I have to pay court costs or any other fines? Thanks.
