They try to trash the constitution. (thank god the courts have stopped them)
They start a needless war in Iraq that has cost thousands of lives and close to a $trillion+ to US Tax payers.
Send American jobs overseas.
Illegally spy on American citizens.
Sell our national debt to the Chinese.
And talk about energy dependency and alternative fuels while big oil is up their butt with tax breaks and Iraq oil field contracts.

Due to years of neglect and short-sighted domestic policies, America is on the verge of an energy crisis. Our supply of energy has not kept pace with our demand. Today our nation produces 39% less oil than we did in 1970. This leaves us dependent on foreign suppliers, who often do not have America’s best interests at heart. In the last Congress, I co-sponsored the Vehicle and Fuel Choices for America Security Act. This bill aims to reduce our oil consumption by 2.5 million barrels per day in ten years by taking an innovative, market-based approach that relies on advanced technology and an expansion of renewable fuels. I will continue to fight for energy independence.

I got pulled over tonight by a douch bag cop telling me my fog lamps were too bright. I'm pretty sure he was just fishing for a DUI or whatever. Is this bright fog lam thing even a ticketable offense? What would the ticket be for? How do they prove they are too bright?

I asked a silly question earlier...just being silly because I was in a good mood...and this chick starts spouting off post that I never wrote...saying that I said my husband has died and I was a widow and I was raising my son alone.

What kind of love would someone have to have towards another person for them to remember everything that they ever posted on Y!A?

I don't know about you...but that kind of gives me the willies.

I asked her for a link with this claim of me stating that my husband died and she couldn't find it.

Maybe she is just senile. I dont know...weird.

I believe that our society’s strength lies in its most fundamental building block, the family unit. Family begins with marriage. We must defend the institution of marriage by defending the definition of marriage. The right to marry is not the right to redefine marriage. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Ok, the biggest criticism of Donald Rumsfeld was his military plan for Iraq...

Rumsfeld believed in using less troops in Iraq, and more technology (airstrikes, tanks, machine guided airplanes, etc.)...

And essentially, according to the democrats.. at the time, we were slowly winning/failing in taking over key parts of Iraq.

The democrats were not happy with that, so they forced him to resign, essentially.

And now, the Democrats are saying that we need to lower/relinquish our troops in Iraq....

I mean, before they were unhappy with America's success in Iraq because of the limited number of troops/funding Rumsfeld sent..

and now they want to end the number of troops/funding sent to Iraq...

Would that mean you LIKE Rumsfeld? Or is there something more to it? Was Congress afraid of Rumsfeld because he was doing exactly what the Democrats wanted (lowering funding/troops), and showing exactly how much of a failure it was?

With our national resources... economic, military, and human... directed towards controlling oil in the Middle East with costs and a growing national debt that will take the next three generations of Americans to pay for, shouldn't oil profits belong to all Americans? Why should a few wealthy individuals profit when all Americans are making the sacrifices and paying the bills?

Nearly 10 years ago I committed a crime of theft. I was arrested, released 2 days later, made every court date, paid back every penny, including fees, fines, ect. Because of the amount, it was originally a felony. In the end it was reduced to a misdemeanor and *DISMISSED*. What does that mean? I know it still shows up on my record, but I've read that it doesn't mean a *conviction*. I've stayed away from certain jobs, and now a nursing program.. but it does list that exponged or dismissed cases won't disqualify...

Regardless of that... what exactly does an dismissed case mean?

Do you think that as a human race we need to put aside our routine of life, just this once and do whatever it takes, and I mean whatever, to repair the damage we have done to this planet? Money should not be an issue it should be non existent when it comes to our survival.
