They try to trash the constitution. (thank god the courts have stopped them)
They start a needless war in Iraq that has cost thousands of lives and close to a $trillion+ to US Tax payers.
Send American jobs overseas.
Illegally spy on American citizens.
Sell our national debt to the Chinese.
And talk about energy dependency and alternative fuels while big oil is up their butt with tax breaks and Iraq oil field contracts.

First of all, junior, you need to distinguish conservatives from the Republican Party. The 2 are NOT twins. The GOP more closely mirrors the views of conservatives but we can use the same distinction between liberals and the Democrat Party. Conservatives did not start a war in Iraq. The invasion of Iraq was voted on by both partys as a response to the UN resolution authorizing force if Saddam refused to comply with weapons inspectors. Those gallant men and women who gave their lives trying to help the Iraqi people achieve a measure of self determination volunteered for the duty. They understood the risks and rose to the challenge. A courage that is grossly lacking in the chickenturds who only know how to criticize with nothing positive to offer as to how we should combat terrorism and terrorists otherwise.
We have not sold our national debt to China. Wise up to global economics.
We are not illegally spying on American citizens. Do you seriously think the NSA cares about your pathetic sex life? They want those who are in cahoots with al Qaeda and other terrorist cells. If you one of them, then you deserve to be spied on.
We did not send jobs overseas. Outsourcing dates back to at least the Carter Administration.

It's not really the conservatives, this nation, and the free world for that matter, is controlled by a group of far-right neo-conservative reactionary statists who don't believe in the rule of international law and don't think they have to tell the truth. Bush, Cheney, Pearl, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz are all members. They wrote 'The Prospect for the New American Century',believe in Global Corporatism and started the war in Iraq to control the oil in the Persian Gulf. Hard evidence strongly suggests that they planned and carried out the attacks on 9/11 in order to have an excuse to start the war and have taken it upon themselves to alter the constitution without any debate in legislature. The Democrats are trashing the constitution. They are the ones against bearing arms. They are the ones trying to ban freedom of speech. The conservatives WANT freedom of speech because they know Limbaugh and Pat Robertson would be shut up if the democrats get their way.
Taxes are lower than they have been in a long time and when the Democrats are in full power they will make taxes sky rocket to aid THEIR special interests organizations.

You think Conservatives hate America? The libs are the ones who want to trash the constitution, maybe not the ones you run into on the street, but the ones in congress. The war isn't needless. In fact, if we hadn't been over there, we would have had another terrorist attack on America. Conservatives don't illegally spy on American citizens. The government watches possible terrorists or those in contact with terrorists so they can detect when an attack is being planned. I'm sure that there are plenty of attempts that have been stopped, but we never hear about these things on the news.

I think REAL conservatives actually love our country very much, it's the newcomers, the blackjack dealers, the fly-by-nighters, the RINO's, the Republicans In Name Only types, that have milked their party affiliation for every penny that it's worth, and it's a good show that the republicans no longer control Congress, as they were about to completely wreck it. Nobody (involved in the political process) hates America, they just want to remake America as they see fit. That goes for everyone.

It's a good thing. The constant opposition keeps everyone on their toes. Shakes things up. Makes sure we aren't stagnant as a nation.

Well, Nomo, I would say Conservatives don't hate America. Just like liberals and other progressives they simply see things differently. In their minds all of this is justified in the war on terrorism. All of your examples are valid for what they do but it isn't because they hate America.
