I constantly see the figures on American troop losses over the last couple years, but in order to soundly judge the value of our mission I was trying to figure out how many people particularly non-combatants that die each day due to the terrorists?

No more than the American lead forces are killing innocent people that get in the way. I doubt they are killing more.

A lot more than anyone thinks judging from what I am seeing and hearing. As for non-combatants that is innocents being killed by american troops? Unfortunately that too is happening, but that is the sad fact about any war. Think of how many innocent germans and japanese were killed by Allied troops.
I wouldn't go condemming american troops because simply because innocents are getting killed by them. I don't think any soldier deliberatly kills an innocent, unless to defend himself or herself.
A terrorist seeks out victims to kill and and doesn,t care whether it is even a child because of blind hatred, even to his own people.

Today a terrorist drove a car (or truck?) into a market and killed far too many people. The driver was a Sunni and he killed Shiites. How can we possibly gain an upper hand in a country like Iraq whose people kill each other without mercy? Let's face it. The Arabs have been doing this for centuries and they will not stop now.

It is mentioned every day when they talk about bombings in market places in Hilla, Sammara,Baghdad, Kirkuk. Expand your horizons, TV stations such as MSNBC & CNN talk about it in addition to mentioning the deaths of our soldiers. I don't know which stations you watch or what junk you read but I hear the numbers everyday. This week alone over 286 people have died, over 769 injured, the worst attack happening today 2/3/07 when one truck bomb killed between 128 and 135 people and wounded 343. Ironic, considering they did not have these problems BEFORE we decided it was in their best interest to invade, occupy and cram democracy down their throats without their asking for it.

i would like to see this tally on the news along with how many enemies were killed, along with our death rate which is publicized way too much
