Get personal with your students. Know who they are, and what kinds of needs and gifts they have. You will get a lot from learning who your students are, and may be able to answer your own question. Listen to their questions and concerns and care about them. The more efort you put into your students, the more effort they will give back to you. You didn't mention the age of your students, but incentives usually work at any age. What "kind" of students do you work with?

1. Leaders listen - this is what makes them approachable and helps the team feel like they are understood and supported.
2. Leaders always give credit where credit is due - give individual compliments to team members, say it loud so others can hear.
3. Leaders are organized - they know what is going on and when so that every moment the team is together their time is fulfilling and meaningful.
4. Leaders are positive - leaders always look on the bright side of things and can rally a team when they may be down.
5. Leaders are honest - they admist when they are wrong and take responsibility for their team. They are trustworthy and the team should look up to them.
