my husband is in training for healthcare specialist. we have two children, a 1 yr old and and 4 yr old. what would be the best posts for us?

There are a lot of different posts that have a lot to offer. It really depends on what you are looking for. Many posts are large enough that you have some choice about whether to live on or off post, but it is something you should consider when thinking about school systems for your kids. Also, I would consider what sort of place would be easiest for you to adapt to if your husband should deploy (is there a post near your home where you might have some additional support or do you have your own career to consider?). Most posts have web sites so you can research the local area and decide which is the best fit for you. Keep in mind that your husband may have an opinion based off of his career.

Right now I live on post in Illesheim, Germany. I like Ft. Campbell because it's close to home. A lot of people here love Ft. Hood, and I think Ft. Benning is pretty great too.

There are many good ones , but I loved Ft. carson and it was very family friendly. Ft. stewart as well. I don't know much about the other ones, but lets face it the army puts a huge strain on families, so wherever you go, there will be challenges.

Tell your husband to go to preferences on the ASK website via AKO(He should have an account). He will have three choices. The Army tries to put their personnel in these places first. If they can't fulfill this then they place them where they need them.

The best post that you will get is the one that the army decides that you will go to. You don't have much choice.
