I will be married in a couple months, and I am hearing from some people that I am entitled to a move reimbursement of my wife, even though I was not married to hear before me checking into my Permanent duty station. If any one can shed some light on this it would be a big help.

Don't forget to talk to the Chaplain. They will be able to assist you if all other avenues are not able to assist you. I had an issue once where me and my wife were about to seperate (Divorce) and I moved her back home during a PCS. After talking on the phone we decided to give it another try and the Chaplain was able to assist us in moving her back to me at no cost to us.

No. the only way you might get some of it paid for is if you did not use all of your weight entitlement(calculated as a single) when you PCSd to your current Duty station.
So, for instance, if you were authorized to move 5,000 lbs but you only moved 1,000, you MIGHT be able to get 4,000 lbs moved for free.. but if you have been at your command over a year, they won't authorize it. and sometimes not even if you have been there six months.

and if this is your first duty station(after training) than no.. all expenses incurred will be out of your pocket.

I got married after he was checked in to his permanent duty station. They won't help us at all. They wouldn't even pay for our sons stuff to move. Sometime if you command has money they will help you. But his wouldn't it. Talk around. Ask your chain of command.

If she's already moved this prolly won't help but if you have a move coming up talk to military one source and ACS (if your army). I would think one source would have some resources to help you move for next to nothing since it's not completely a military move like a pcs. Other than that I don't know what to tell you, other than claim it as your stuff and make them move it for you or claim it as a "do it yourself" move. That what we did for mine.

Talk to your TMO and see what THEY say. They are the experts.
