His inspirational revolution, Bolivarian revolution, is stopping the south from being just the back yard of the US.

His extraordinary popularity amongst Africans, Middle Easterners and nearly all of South America is something to behold. Why do people keep telling lies about him and the successes this man has achieved?

Though I agree with your take on the positive influence he has on South America,I'm too much of a skeptic to celebrate any political leaders anniversary in power.
The reason certain groups keep telling lies about him is exactly because he stand in the way of their goal to make South America into the backyard of the USA

Venezuela deserves better than this paranoid buffoon. Now he's going to nationalize the large industries. Hmmm...... so he wants to isolate Venezuela just like Cuba?

What a bleeping idiot. His mother must be wishing Mr. Chavez had used a condom that night.

I shan't celebrate that, however I am pleased about the leftist evolution of central american and south american politics. perhaps reagan and his buddies' death squads couldn't keep the people down forever there.

Castro was demonized because successes in socialism couldn't be shown to the american people lest we start demanding our economic rights, too.

Why, what the heck has he done for me? I mean the guy hasn;t done a thing to help me at all and he's a socialist which is one step from being a Nazi. Besides, tomorrow is my Mother-in-laws birthday and she HAS done something for me.
