I guess they are just trying to get even for the way that the Republicans and probably you yourself treated former President Bill Clinton. Remember how that attack went every night on shows across the nation? You ain't seen nothing yet Lhynn, this is only the beginning. Your man has blown the Federal budget 3 times over, destroyed a surplus of billions of dollars and now wants to make cuts to your health system to pay for a war in a foreign country where more and more of your soldiers are being killed everyday. And when your country has only a two party system there is little room to explore the real issues, which they avoid and just go for the jugular. Don't ever expect a Republican or a Democrat to ever make it possible for a third national party to develop because then they would have to deal with the real issues and Americans might be able to get something other than this sort of reaction out of their political parties. As it is now expect more of the same up to and including the next election. Which by the way will once again rob the American people of a democratic opportunity by allowing that Electoral College to ruin the whole thing once again. When was it that America had a President that let's say at least 55% of the country supported for more than one year of his or her Presidency? As a Republican of course you are going to pick a Republican and that is exactly the problem your country faces, a two party system pitted one against the other and instead of working together, as Bush promised in his debates against John Kerry, they constantly oppose one another even on the most minute differences. Bill Clinton was torn apart because of a misdemeanor with Monica Lewinsky, whereas Mr. Bush is financing a war which shouldn't have been, not one person lost his life because of Clinton's affair, and look at Bush's record on Iraq. Do you see a difference here? I didn't here any cry foul chants when Clinton faced impeachment, yet Bush can spend more on Iraq than he does on Katrina victims and no one says a thing. Don't you see a problem with that? Next will be health care cuts, Clinton's presidency left a huge surplus, remember that? It is time to face the music so don't expect this tune to change any time soon. You ain't seen nothing yet.

Actually, you hear Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh slander Democrats all the time.
You are correct that many of answers on Y!A do not answer intelligently nor do they cite sources. I suppose it is something that we just have to deal with.
Here's a questions for you. Why do Republicans blindly follow Bush without questioning his decisions or his motives?
I was a Republican once. In fact, President Bush was the first person I ever voted for in 2000. I did not vote for him in 2004. I'm a traditional Conservative. I believe in super-small government, low taxes, low spending, balanced budget, laisser faire foreign policy, walking softly and carrying a big stick.
The President and the Republican Congress increased the size of the Federal Government, increased our deficit spending and our National Debt. They preemptively attacked a sovereign Nation on bad intelligence and did a poor job at managing the war. They have still not done enough to level the trade "playing field" with China (although I have hope that they are working on it). Now they are letting Israel lead us around blindly while they duke it out with Iran.
As much as I support the Jewish state, we need to cut the umbilical cord. Israel is like a little brother that keeps trash talking to the bullies down the street because he knows his big brother has his back. Well, pretty soon the little brother is going to say something or do something stupid and big brother might have moved away to college.
The President's behavior is so bizarre sometimes. After the Democrats won the House and Senate, he seemed to be humbled. After he received the report from the Iraq Study Group he went into seclusion for a few weeks. The group suggested to engage Syria and Iran to help in Iraq and the President came out swinging at Iran and Syria. I don't think that was the type of engagement the ISG had intended.
That's why I don't like the President, why do you like him?

Their last Leader, Willie Waffler, set the stage for them and like it or not that is what most have become a"Willie Waffler Imitator."
Willie's famous "It depends upon what your definition of is is." has been religiously followed by the Neo-Dems and it has become a way of life for them.
