i could post thousands and thousands of examples of documentation that seems to indicate that the greater iraqi popuation is in fact far worse off then when good ol' saddam was in power....sure a few folks might get beheaded or executed in the public square from time to time, but that's how they roll in the dirty middle east. at least with saddam around these poor citizens could hit the market and do a little shopping without a good chance of getting shrapnel in the face. worse violence in a much more random manner on a much, much larger scale. now dying is much more of a possibility for the average iraqi than it was under hussein.
are they still considering the U.S. a rghteous liberating force or what?? please twist the facts around and defend this little debacle, you blind followers of the dubya regime. just like your hero slimy condi would do to perfection. this ought to be amusing.

Saddam was responsible for 2,000,000 Iraqi deaths over a 25 year period. More than 750,000 Iraqis have died in the past 4 years.
It appears that they were better off with Saddam.

Thousands and thousands?
I don't think you could find 10 before you start getting the AP or Reuter's duplicated efforts.
Let's see you do it. I'll wait around for about an hour. Come up with 10 DIFFERENT stories, ALL FROM CREDIBLE SOURCES that tell us that Iraqi life is SUBSTANTIALLY worse than under Saddam Hussein.
Ever notice children playing in the streets? 72% turning out to vote? The new Baghdad stock exchange? The world's fastest growing economy in 2006? People drinking coffee and reading the paper outdoors? Kurds living in a land where violence is rarely reported? Fellujah no longer violent?
Seems to contradict your "thousands and thousands" of articles, now, doesn't it?

No Sir, they cannot. Evidenced by the fact that 135 people, men, women, and children were brutally slain today whilst doing just what you ask. 300 were seriously injured and we do not know how many of those will survive their injuries.
I have come to the conclusion that the simple minded and only the simple minded can not see what a fractorus mess this has all been. The people of the UK have seen through the lies and are agitating for Prime Minister Blair to leave office immediately, it makes you wonder what is wrong with Americans who continue to support this discredited administration.

You mean they can actually voice their displeasure with the way things are going right now? You know they couldn't do that 5 years ago? I wonder how they feel about being able to criticize the government?
