However, in the past year I have developed a very low tolerance for the sight of them. I mean, I've NEVER ever been in close proximity to one other than on the other side of a glass cage looking in. Before I could look at them on TV with no problem but now when I see one I scream very loudly as if I have been hurt. I've scared my husband a couple of times if he's in another room and hears my deathly scream. My heart rate increases and I get very nervous. Like I said before, this just started happening. I've never been harmed by one or even came in contact with one but I've always thought they were creepy. Is this just an developing phobia?

Why won't they. They sell live crickets and meal worms. They sell feeder fish! Dog food and cat food is made from animal parts. But they won't sell feeder mice. As a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi I have to go about 30 minutes to Ocean Springs to find feeder mice because our only really good pet store got washed away with Katrina and the only thing that is left is Petsmart, and it pisses me off that they won't sell mice as feeder mice (Unless you want to buy a $6 mouse for your snake, then just dont tell them it's snake food). Is it just because mice are cute and furry like Stewart the mouse or something, and I even saw my Patsmart sell a few small snakes but yet you still can't buy their food there! What's the deal.

I would like to get a Chameleon, what type should I get. I know they are difficult to keep, but I have experience with Iguanas, Basilisks, Water Dragon, Tegus, Savannah Monitors, Toads, Frogs, Turtles and Snakes. So I think I can handle it, and I'm doing alot of research online.

Hi I have some baby red ear sliders and was wondering if they could be put in a large tank with other red ear sliders or if they need to be in a small tank with only a little water to start? they seem to be fine right now they can get on the basking log and are getting along great with my other turtles but I am not sure if at this young age they need more readily access to air and basking
