first off, what kind of lighting do you have in there? his temp should be at least 70-75 degrees. you should also have a uvb/uva light with them. but the thing about uv lights its that after six months of 12hour a day usage, they no longer emit the rays. if you have the right lighting, check the surroundings, does he have lots of vines, fake plants and such? a nice hiding spot? thats always a nice thing too. misting the foilage is a must, as most of their water consumption comes from the leaves and dew. next are you mixing the crickets youre feeding him with a vitamin/calicum supplament every other day or at least twice a week? that should be done also. if everything is in check and he doesnt regain color in about a week, call a vet. hes most likely just stressed out. keep me updated

RELAX most reptiles will turn dark to absorb more light hence more heat maybe a bit cold or stressed but if your not bothering it he is a touch cold id say

I think that he is just growing into his or herself and you should just give it time to grow into itself so hope your gecko does good!
