I've tried soaking it in a salt solution, and it helped a little but sometimes it looks better than other times so I'm not sure its actually helping. I want to know if its a fungus that I need treatment for or if it will just go away. Its been around for a few weeks now

My Red Eared Slider has mites in his tank. Well he had them in an old tank. I took everything out cleaned it with 1/10 Bleach solution, then sprayed it with Jurassimite from Jurassipet. Then well, I dropped his enclosure and the glass broke (he wasn't in it) so I got him a brand new tank, and brand new substrarte rocks. The only thing from the original infested tank is the bottom filter grate thing (soaked and cleaned with mite solution), his floating platform (same), filter (same), and heater (same clense as well). So, you guessed it, the new tank is showing mites, not nearly as many but I see them floating around. I even rinsed the new rocks off with some of the spray before setting up. Is there anything I can do without having to take everything out again? How do I get rid of these mites? Where do they come from so I won't reintroduce them and how do I prevent them? How harmful are they to Emo? Please help . . .

I have a ornate box turtle and I've had her for 9 years. Thinking about getting another one for her. Do they get lonely? Would they fight?

How do you know when a snake is hungry? I asked questions yesterday about how I would go about feeding it since I was so scared of it and got some suggestions on things to try. However I do not know the last time it was fed and am wondering how do you know ifs it hungry. I went to check its water and put my finger on the outside of his tank and it followed my finger where ever it went. Does this mean its hungry?

I bought a red-eared turtle 2 weeks ago and his eating habits were just fine. Now he's stopped eating and hasn't had anything to eat for 5 days now, and he has also been awfully lazy. What should I do? Please RSVP.

His temperature in his tank is fine, it stays between 77-84 degrees, however drops alot at night because of the climate where i live, so i insulate the tank with bubble wrap at night when i switch off his lamp to help trap the heat. He is 2.5 ft long and i keep him in a 2ft x 1ft x 1 ft tank. I last fed him a large white, followed by a medium 7 days later, and its almost a month since then. He excreted several days after the feed and then again yesterday. He is still very strong and active. He seems very curious and seems to really enjoy being handled. Am I worrying over nothing or is there reason to be concerned about the length of time since he last fed. I've had him 1.5 yrs and he's never rejected his food, so far he has rejected 5 mice over the month. What things should I look out for?

I have had several leopard geckos and two of them stopped eating. I don't think it was from impaction I used a calcium substrate. I tried force feeding them but they still wouldn't eat and they eventually died. I am very sad and I am afraid it will happen to my other one. What causes them just to stop eating and what should I do to help if I notice the other one stops eating?

See, I have an Iguana, its still a small one, yesterday i brought it out to my mom´s plants, and well, it bit on one of the " Nochebuena" plant leaf, taking a piece and eating it... anyways..... ironic enough today the plant was dieing. I was thinking it could be just a coincidence... or maybe the Iguanas have a parasite or something that could have infected the plant? I really dont know.... the possibilities of it being just a coincidence are high, but still...what a messy coincidence!!!
