One of my 2 clown loaches has ich and I would imagine the rest of my fish may be soon to get the same. In the tank I also have 2 irredescents, 2 balas, and 2 rubberlip plecos. Is it possible to treat ich with salt, having catfish in the tank? Some meds say "not suitable for scaleless fish" does that mean it will kill mine or simply be ineffective in treating them. Water properties are very good and I keep the temp at 80deg C. Everything seemed fine in the tank unitl I put the loaches in and they're the only ones showing signs of the parasite.

i have kept a two small bass before but turned them loose after they ate too much. i now have a job and can drive and afford to buy worms and minnows, i was just wondering if i could keep one or two bluegill in a 29 gallon tank with no heater? ive heard the bluegills will wind up eating flake food, but i wll feed him live every so often too.they dont get that big, the biggest in my lake around 8-9 inches. so they wouldnt break the 1in per gallon rule, which i have been told is BS. what do yall think?

How often do I clean a 5 gallon aquarium with 3 goldfish and 2 algae eaters. It has a filter system. The reason is I just got it Saturday and on Sunday the water very suddenly turned cloudy after I put an aerator (little ship that air pump plugs into) in. The wasn't cloudy at all till I put that in.

My beta fish tank is producing lots of bubbles at the top, the best way to describe them is like soap bubbles only I KNOW there isn't any soap, it seems to help them disappear if I open the lid to the tank for a few minutes. What are they and are they harming my beta? What's the best way to prevent them?

Apparently, the live sand that I used for substrate contained a few unwelcome inhabitants that attacked the Starfish.

Will the Starfish survive? I know that some species of Starfish can regenerate limbs, but I have been unable to find out if this particular type can (Fromia milleporella).

I have tow hermit crabs, a baby one and a very larger older one. I replenish the food everyday but it doesn't seem as if they eat anything. I make sure to keep everthing moist, so they stay hydrated but they never eat. =[
