Yup definitely, otocinclus are tolerant of temperatures as low as 68F, so 72F is quite fine.

Oh, in regards to the person above me, otocinclus are NOT golden algae eaters - she's refering to the chinese algae eater that is gold in colour.

And FYI, get many oto cats. If you have 1 or 2, they'll be shy and you'll rarely see them. Get more than 4, and they become extroverted hyper little fish.

72 degrees F would be perfect for them. Their range of temperatures is between 68-79 degrees F.
