Being less active CAN be a sign of disease, but that's not all that can cause it. there is just simply no way to know based on what we have to go on so far. I assume you aso feed your eel other foods as well? If not you should, he needs more than just a small peive of worm every other day. If that's all you have been feeding, add some sinking pellets to his diet. Hunger could be a cause of his lowered activity level.

A number of us had told you how to care for your eel. You refused to listen. We have told you about cycling your tank, we have told you how big of a tank, we have told you what you needed to know and you refused to listen to any of us.

First off, your eel isn't going to be playfull an jump around the tank. He is going to sit and do nothing....that is what eels do. NOTHING. Worms, squid what ever, he is still going to do NOTHING.

He is fine not sick. He isn't going to come out, he isn't going to play, he isn't goin g to chase food unless he is starving. Your eel is less than a month. I as well as a few others have told you they are not ACTIVE fish. HE his fine.
