What else can i do?
my fish have ick/ich!
i have a 3foot tank which measures :-
H92cm W32cm H38cm
which i think is about 24.6 gallons
the fish i have are:-
1 male betta, 1 dwarf gourami, 1 mollie, 1 red platy (preggers)
2 blue platys (ones preggers), 2 kuhli loaches, 3 neons and a plec.
i did have 2 clown loaches, 4 cherry barbs, and male red platy but they all died the other day :o( sob sob
any way ive been treating them for ick/ich. i tryed this one treatment called fish saver but seen no change at all. so i bought some new treatment that is called ANTI WHITE SPOT PLUS #6!!! i did a 30% water change yday and ive been turning the heater up since sunday. (as alot of ppl on Y!A told me to do this. my thermomiter is reading 79 is blue 81 is green and 82 is going slightly red. is this ok? i put the new treatment in yday after i did the water change. i havent noticed any of the white spots going but i have notice alot more on my fish since turning the heater up. (and thats when they started dying)

Okay, I just got this goldfish today, for my science class. I named him George, but the thing is, I haven't had a fish in so long... I have no clue how to care for him. I want to keep him. But like how do I care for him, other than feeding him. How often should I clean the tank? How do I tell if he's sick or not? And what's with the stuff the store gave me to like get ride of the clorine in the water? Is the clorine in the water at my house? I didnt know if it was so to be on the safe side tonight when i cleaned his cage, because i got him a big tank, instead of making him swim in a two liter bottle, I added just a few drops. And anything important about like water tempetures I should know? like not to put them in cold water or what?

My goldfish had swim bladder disease so I gave him pea for a few days & he stopped floating beely-up. He had fin-root too so I administrated Maracin Two for 5 days. (10 gl. tank). I allways used salt too! The water got really cloudy becouse of the medication. I didn't do any water change during these 5 days, I had air running in the tank and a wisper filter with NO CARBON. There was alot of foam on the top floating, I was surprised the fish didn't die in that mess! All these 5 days I feed him flakes, not too much, once/day. After 5 days of treatment I did a 75% water change and the following day 100%. Now the water beeing so clear I was able too see that the fish have black stripes on the dorsal fin, tail & black on gills! Since then,(it's been 6 days now),I changed water 75% every day.Filter is running with new carbon and air. Salt added! I took some ornaments from another fish tank just to bring some good bacteria in. No improuvement!WHAT IS GOING ON? SEE PICTURE OR ASK 4 MORE PICS!

I usually buy from PetSmart or Petco but they don't have the kind of fish I'm looking for. I don't know anyone with a tank so I can't ask friends.

He/she is kind of a brown color till the light hits and then he turns irrediscent with pink, purple, green colors. He's about the size of a small mollie. The store said rose neon something. He's not a neon. I looked for pics and can't find him. I'd like to look him up by name to see how to care for him.

I changed his tank water Wednesday and the next day he was swimming erratic and his fins were leaning to the side. He hasn't touched his food and he either floats to the top or stay s at the bottom. I think the water wasn't good, so I changed it again, this time with purified bottle water and water conditioner. I think I stressed him out though. I've read a few things and it's saying that he just might be stressed or overfed (which I have done), but everytime I go near the bowl he's goes crazy, like he's scared of me. His color is looking not so great either but he doesn't seem to be dying per say. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have 2 tiger barbs for a 5 gallon tank. The heater is set at 72F, the filter is going, the air stone is on, and I put in some stuff called Easy Balance with nitraban. I used jugged spring water to fill it. Anything I forgot or any advice? I want a bigger tank when I can afford it. The fish have been floating in the bag inside the tank for about 20 minutes. When can I put them on in the water?

My guppies are not growing. They are now 8 months old and they are still the size of fries. I gave away about 20 guppies and they are all fully grown adults ready to fries of their own. My first batch of guppies grew to be full size adults, but their off spring are not growing at all, or at least the ones in my tank. My tank is about a 20 galloon and I have 6 guppies.
