I agree with chameleon. If you're looking for a "see through" shrimp for saltwater, look into a peppermint shrimp. These aren't as clear as a ghost shrimp, but are about the same size, have some red striping, are good at controlling nuisance anemones (Aiptasia), are easy to care for, may breed in your tank (they can function as male or female, so any two will do), and are currently one of the least expensive of the saltwater shrimp. They will become tame enough to take food from your hand - just be careful not to have any lotions, soap, etc. on your hands when putting them in the tank!

Ghost shrimp are a fresh water species. They will not survive in a salt water environment. There are other speices of shrimp available for salt water tanks though. They do tend to be bigger, but they are usually very colorful.
