Actually, I've seen videos of Oscars and Goldfish co existing. That really depends on your Oscar though. And it better be a fast growing, large goldfish. Anything smaller or maybe even the same size as your Oscar might be misinterpretted as food. But again, that depends on your Oscars temperment. The temperature is also an issue but for that you just find a healthy medium. 78 degrees F works wonders for most fish.
Also, I dont know if you know but Oscars grow to about 10 inches in length depending on the type and goldfish release alot of ammonia in their poop so you'd need a pretty big tank with frequent cleanups in order to have these live a nice, long, healthy life.
Maybe you should rethink the combination. There'd be alot more negatives than positives with keeping these two. But anyways, good luck. :)

Absolutely not! The water will either be too warm for the Goldfish,or too cold for the Oscars. The goldfish are great dirt producers and tank maintenance would be a nightmare. Also water that is warm enough for Oscars would not carry enough oxygen for Goldfish, and water that was cool enough to keep the Goldfish happy would eventually encourage a whopping case of "ich" in the Oscars. Don't try it, it's cruel.

The answer is "NO". Whether same size or even smaller than your goldfish, the Oscar is a cichlid, and that too quite an aggressive one, and will even playfully tear the goldfishes to bits, even if they may not eat them up.
I am not even talking about the completely different temperatures, separate water parameters and tank setups that both these species needs, because my first paragraph should be good enough as an answer.

Besides aggression issues with the Oscars.Gold fish are cold water fish and Oscars are tropical so they should not be mixed

Nope goldfish with goldfish. Unless you are feeding them to the oscar. Get a separate tank, so you can have both!

if you put the oscars in w/ the goldfish, it will eat it, or it will grow first then eat it, so i wouldn't put the goldfish in the same tank. since the goldfish won't grow any bigger, so it can't defend itself. if you put an oscar(s) in a tank w/ the goldfish, get a tank divider, and give the goldfish its own little area
