my husbands friend is going to breed pitbulls, and my husband wants one. im kinda scared to get a purebred. i have a 3 yr old daughter, and i dont want anything bad to happen. has anybody raised a pitbull up and was it a good dog?

He weighs about 25#'s, short,blk,really smart! He's hi-energy,low maintinance, but the last couple of days, he shivers/trembles, and won't leave my side. As if tryn to tell me "I'm not well". We r careful w/his diet, (watch labels). We've had a weather change here, cold & wet now!! His poo is normal,no worms, no blood. What should I look for next!!! PLZ HELP

People that give advice on training and behavior are they really trainers? Do they really know anything about animal behavior? It is sad to see the bad information given out to people looking for help. iv got a year old jack russel called mollie i love her to bits and we are really close but when i take her for walks she attacks people that walk past especially old people and a woman that lives down our road. she also goes for joggers people on bikes and mopeds on the road, sometimes she goes for kids that are on skates and running. she really isnt a violent dog at all she wouldnt hurt anyone but it could give people the wrong impression of her. i dont want her to get out of hand but i dont know how to train her to stop it. how can i start?

talk my husband into letting our boxer mix three month old baby (dog) stay in the house we have a four yr\old and a two month old (kids not dogs) (lmao had to clearify) anyway he is totally against it but i really want him in the house but his main thing is dogs are supposed to be outside and not inside especially when there are going to get as big as jake is?? how can i talk him into it i need help guys and girls guys how did your girlfriend, wife, or daughter talk you into it plz help me i don't want my baby out in the rain and cold and scared cause of the noise ugh i just don't want him in the dark back yard by himself anything would be helpful thanks in advance

why does he roll over on bugs?? he has done it a couple of times. there was a moth on the ground and he was rolling back and forth on it..... and then he did it today, there was a bug on the floor and he started rolling around on it. is he just a weirdo?

scratching i gave him.......crap i can't think of the name of the meds (oops) it is a flea med for dogs and got him chipped plus started his puupy plan at the vet my problem is i can't find any fleas or tick on him but he is scratching like crazy he is a boxer mix three months old the name of the medicine is frontline i just remembered it he has had his kennel cough shot and some other shot too and also heart worm meds what should i do he has been doing this since i found him last thursday i feel so bad for him cause he whines all the time but he has probably only barked 4 or 5 times that i have heard him and it is more like a whimper bark than anything else any help would be great thanks in advance

Here they are. The little one is Dinky. He is a 9lb mini Schnauzer. Hes my baby.
The big one is Ellie. And yes she is cross-eyed. It gives her so much more personality. LOL She is a big girl at 120 lbs. I have never owned a Neapolitan Mastiff before, but my goodness, she is the most awesome dog I have ever owned. And it isnt because of her looks, she is Awesome with my kids, cats, and horses, and she is such a cuddle bug. When I pet her, she will grunt and wine. Its so cute.
I love them both!
Oh and the cat is my Mea.(Pron Mee-Uh). Shes my cat-dog. I swear she acts just like a dog. She and my dogs get along very well.

A friend of mine brings her dog to my house and claims it is housebroken, I have dogs of my own and they are housebroken after she leaves I've scooped up the evidence that her dog isn't. How do I ask her not to bring her dog or to put it in the back yard with mine while she visits?
