They often have upper respitory health problems, their eyes can POP out of the socket very easily and due to the "bugout" eyes known for eye problems.
They snort a lot and snore while sleeping.

There are numerous breed clubs (including pugs)all over the place - try your national kennel organisation. The AKC or in Australia your state association (Vic Canine Association, DogsNSW etc!)
To the person above - Pugs are NOT Boxers. Although they are both from the brachycephalic family of dogs (from the greek brachy - short, cephalic - head). Meaning they have the pushed in face look.
