Why do dogs like licking their body and people ?????

I am asking because lot of dogs like to lick them selfs and people don't u think that is weird

No, they need salt too and that is where their taste buds are or the way to famillarize themselves with you. They clean themselves because that is the only way to get clean. we have showers or wash rags and stuff. they dont

My personal theory why dogs seem to like to lick people's faces is they like the smell and/or taste of the skin oils. (I don't know for certian if this is true or not just my own private theory).

its a way of cleaning themselves. dogs show affection by licking people
