I was wondering if it was okay to give my dog these things. I am out of dog food, but I will go tommorrow to buy more. Here is what I was going to give my dog:

Raw Eggs (Plain)

Raw Hamburger meat

Turkey

Chicken Broth

And anything else you can reccomend. Is it okay to give my dog uncooked meat? Thanks!

Has anyone used training discs with their dog? Have you had any success and would you recommend them?

I have a 10 month old male Akita. He is almost 95 lbs. I feed him a mix of puppy food with boild checken breast, rice, broccoli, and carrots. 2 times a day. He has regular vet checks and the vet said he could not be healther. When should I start to mix in adult dog food? He could get up to 130 lbs the vet said, his father is 130lbs and mother is 100 lbs. How big do you think he will get?

His dog just had puppies a few days ago. She layed on one and it wasnt breathing untill my boyfriend squeezed some air into it with a small bulb syringe. Now the puppy is alive but she is always gasping for air and has to open its mouth to breath. Milk is constantly coming out of it's nose. What do we do? Is there something that would effect the way it breaths and how its food goes down?

I am not hurting her in any way. Whenever I even get the clippers close to her, she snaps at me. I know she has never been injured by clippers before because I've always personally done it or been there when it was done.

She really needs her nails clipped, so please help!

This morning someone threw a puppy in a bag over my fence :(
The puppy is very small, has fur, looks to me as he has only 2 weeks or so... He has fleas. I don't know what to do, i want to keep him. But what do i feed the puppy at that age? he still needs his mother i think. Do i need to take him to the vet? What type of injections does he need? How do i take care of him? Where should he sleep and how many times a day do i feed him and with what? He can walk, but stumbles, it looks like he only learned to do it not long ago because hes very young. I don't know what breed he is, maybe mixed.

Thanks so much for the help! :)

I rescued a dog at the end of June, this year. And, later found out through 2 different vets that the dog is a Staffordshire Terrier.

My apartment manager told me NO pets were allowed here....AT ALL. I was forced to call animal control. :(

The day that she was going to be "put down" I went against the managers wishes, and went and got her. She is too good of an animal to be euthenized.

The lady at the shelter told me that this dog was NOT going to be adopted out....AT ALL. This was due to her breed! The ONLY reason she allowed me to get her was because she knew the story behind it.

Before rescuing her, I was afraid of dogs (all dogs, especially the bigger ones). Of all breeds to rescue, it was a "pitbull." I put that in quotations because the of the research I have done. I have learned that the term "pitbull" is actually a slang term. Not an actual breed.

My question...

What can be done to keep this breed and others from becoming "black listed?"

Thanks in advance.

When I got my dog they told me she was mix chow and lab because she had a spotted tongue. I noticed that there are a few breeds with spotted tongue. However she is 1 years old and big she weighs about 75lbs and has huge heavy paws. looking for pictures to compare she compared most with some RR but she doesn't hair the directional hair. Took perfectly 2 yr old dog to Vet for his shots. 3 days later dog was lethargic etc, and had drips out of rear. Called Vet and they said -- oh bring it in, it isn't due to anything we did, we will have to charge you full admission fees and check-up fees again etc!! That night took dog to Emergency Vet and my Dog died -- ER Vet said likely due to poisoning (INSIDE dog so that is out, plus we have another dog and cat that are perfectly healthy) OR a reaction to the shot.

Can I SUE this jerk of a VET!! (first one of course)

My 9 week old min pin likes to just piss in places and I find it unnecessary to have pea on my nice carpet. Also I hate poop. I have been searching online for advice, but every web site I happen to click on wants me to order the book or video....Where is some good, helpful advice from friend to friend?! I read about sticking a match in the dogs butt hole, but I find the thought alone to be a little appauling! Wow!
Also, she hates the nice big crate, she will cry all night, sometimes I have to stick her on my porch so I can get some sleep, and she still cries. There are toys, food, water, blankies, and bones. She still cries the whole time she is on the porch too. What can I do?

He sighs, whimpers and 'hums' nearly all the time! He loves to cuddle and has a best friend he is with all the time and is a very loving and content dog but his noises drive me mad. I don't know what he wants ( apart from treats!) and unless he's eating all the time will make himself heard! I love him dearly but sometimes am exasperated, its like a child constantly crying. Anybody else have this? please help, oh, ignoring him doesnt work, he will sigh and whimper and whistle all night if need be!

Help, I have a 6 month lab mix puppy who hates to be left alone.
When I first got him he was great but now he goes ballistic when no one is home. He was in a crate but I decided to leave him in the kitchen, with the radio on, and he was good. But now he barks and whines all day while I'm at work. I'm only gone for 3 hours during the day. I work close to home so I check on him sometimes, but when I see him I think that makes him worse. We go running and walking for at least 30 minutes every morning. So what can I do?
Is there any medicine I could give him to relax.
Maybe some natural products?
Please Help !

Just follow these simple steps:

---

The Backyard Breeders' and Puppy Millers' Big Book of Old Excuses
© Denna Pace 2001

1. When called on bad breeding practices, ALWAYS claim that you are merely an innocent posting as a favor to a friend or family member.

2. Point out that everybody you know breeds this way, therefore it must be
okay.

3. Claim that "snobby show breeders" are only criticizing you because they
want to corner the market on puppy profit.

4. Claim that a Champion in the pedigree is just as good as 56 Champions in the pedigree. Not that it matters, because you doubt that there is such a
thing as a dog with 56 champions in the pedigree.

5. Claim that you are just trying to produce good pets, therefore good pets
are all you need for breeding.

6. When asked about health testing, enthusiastically point out that your
b###h had a health checkup before breeding.

Hello, evertime my dog takes a step... I can hear her poot a little bit. It just sounds like air, not loud. Is this unusual? Should I worry?

She's a dobie, by the way. She eats purina, and she is 1 year old.
