You go to a vet no matter how expensive it is. It's just a general rule..... If the dog is hit by a car, she sees a vet. If you can't do that then surrender her to a shelter so she can get some medical help.

UMMM HELLO???
OK If you where hit by a car where would your first stop be?? If you think a Vet is expensive then You really need to surrender your Little Dog Sassy to someone who has the common sense and Love to rush her to the Vet in her time of need
I cannot believe You would let her lay there overnight after the trauma of being hit by a car then get on Your Computer asking a Stupid Question like this expecting a Polite answer
Animal Cruelty do you really want to sit in a jail cell for this?? You know you can? What you are doing rite now is Mistreating that poor pup and You Really need to call a Vet Explain to the Vet I cannot afford to pay you but she needs care and they will work with you and let you either turn her over to them and they will place her with a loving Family after treatment or If you are willing some Vets will offer you a Credit Or payment Plan Get her in As she could be in Shock or in some real serious Pain
Wake Up

Yes, the bill for Sassy is going to be expensive but you took on that financial responsibility when you got her. While she may appear to only have a few bumps and bruises and most likely as a broken leg, there could very well be internal injuries that could result in being fatal should you not take her to the vet. Get her to a vet and while you are there, ask about making payment arrangements. If you really do not want to take her, than please call the shelter and take her there so that she can get the urgent treatment that she needs. While dogs may not show the amount of pain that they are in, I can guarantee that she is hurting alot and she could go into shock from the pain.

Are you aware that if someone where to report you for not taking your dog to the vet you could be fined or arrested for animal neglect and abuse? And Sassy would be taken from you. It's cruel to let that dog be in pain and not take her just because the vet is expensive. Do the right thing.

First of all, you took on the responsibility of owning a dog, and not keeping the dog restrained, so therefore, it IS your responsibility to take the dog to the vet to be treated. She could have more than just a broken leg, she could have internal damage, which is very likely in an automobile accident. If you can not afford to take her to the vet, then take her to your local animal shelter or Humane Society, explain to them what happened, and that you can't afford to help her. They will take her and and give her the proper treatment that she deserves, but you will not be able to have her back without paying for the medical charges. She does need medical treatment ASAP regardless.

so, if you were hit by a car, and your leg was broken and you were in excruciating pain, you couldn't see a doctor, because doctors are expensive. You have the dog, which means you decided to be financially responsible for the dog. If you don't have the money, then put the animal to sleep so that it doesn't suffer miserably. Surrender it to a shelter where they will humanely put it to sleep and it won't cost you a dime. then please don't get another pet.

This is something you should always plan on and hope you won't neeed.
if this was a child would you be letting the child suffer just because it cost money.
It is a resposability of owning Any animal to take care of it.

So if you don't have the money to take your dog to the vet you could always SELL YOUR COMPUTER. Honestly, how irresponsible are you? Take the poor animal to a shelter and don't own dogs in the future.
