There isn't a state law for that sort of thing, check into city/county laws.

Limits on how many dogs a person can own are generally done on the local level, not the state level.

Check with your city or county ordinances for information on how many you can have.

There used to be some restrictions in Lancaster county, but not sure that they still apply. I believe that there was a limit of set, but I do not think that they were ever able to enforce the restrictions.

Ironically, Lancaster, PA has the most puppy mills.

In Pa the township you live in has their own rules. I live in Pa. and I have no limit on dogs or cats. Right across the street from me (I mean 30 ft) you can only own two per household. I am right on the boarder. THE GOOD SIDE THANK GOD!! I now have seven dogs. and very jealous neighbors.

it is not a state thing it is where you like the county the city call where you pay your taxes and ask them
