I saw some puppies in the petshop today and they are totally adorable. I want to know what kind of pets they make. Are they intelligent and what kind of temperament do they have. Thanks.

No, I'm talking about the mini. They don't get much bigger than a Chiuaua.

Oh, ok you could be right. I just saw it fleetingly in the shop. They were black with brown spots on paws.

This breed is not realted to the Doberman.
It is a small VERY HIGHLY ACTIVE breed. They tend to be barkers and they need lots of activity and exercise. They are smart but can be hard to train and people tend to put up with alot from them as they are tiny and cute. But with work and proper training they can be great dogs. You should be an active person who is willing to spend time playing with them as they like to do things. They are not always social so taking them out and introducing them to people and other dogs and such helps them quite a bit.

there is not any such ingredient as a miniature Doberman Pinscher. The Miniature Pinscher is 4 hundred years older than the Doberman Pinscher and helpful no longer correct interior the least. The Doberman became into created by ability of crossing German Pinschers with super Danes, Weimaraners and Rottweilers to get the dimensions and strategies-set that the Doberman has at present.

There are NO miniature Doberman Pinschers. The breed you are talikng about is the Miniature Pinscher which is a totally different (and older) breed then the Doberman.
Min Pins are nice dogs, however they are very active, high energy dogs. They are very smart dogs. They can be very willful and stubborn and also can be very yappy. They need an active owner who has time to spend with and train them.
Do NOT buy ANY puppy from a pet store!!! These dogs come from irresponsible breeders and often have temperament and/or health issues.

There is no such thing as a mini Doberman Pinscher. You are probably seeing a Miniature Pinscher.
Please do NOT purchase a puppy from a pet store. These dogs are ALL from puppy mills. These poor animals are literally bred TO DEATH and never leave their crates their whole lives. Don't give these people your money so they can continue to torture poor helpless animals. If you are interested in this breed, please do some research first, as they are very active, outgoing and stubborn dogs. They are NOT recommended for homes with young children. With a breed that may live 16-18 years, you need to make sure this is the breed you want! There are hundreds of unwanted minpins in shelters and rescue in this country right now. Please don't be one to add to this problem.

what you are describing is a miniature pinscher, it is a totally different breed than the doberman. I'm going to strongly urge you NOT to buy and pups from a set store. they support puppy mills, and they are a nasty place to get dogs or puppies from look into finding a rescue group in your area. type miniature pinscher rescue (your city and state) in your search engine.

the truth about puppy mills from the humane society
http://www.hsus.org/pets/issues_affecting_our_pets/get_the_facts_on_puppy_mills/index.html

while the above article is great, here's a video that shows you exactly what these dogs are put through at puppy mills
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HM8UmHM8Uo

please do not support these dog concentration camps

if you cant find a dog from the rescue group you like try to find a breeder in your area.

by the way, CHA is obvious very uneducated about these and other dogs so i would just ignore them

At my dad's house we have a miniature Doberman Pincher. If you want one you have to be able to give him several hours of you and him time everyday. They need to be played with and exercised as well. They really are very lovable dogs. I do recommend them.

Hope this helps!! Bells

Temperment is not good. I would avoid this dog.

Only one worse is the pit bull.

See a golden , lab , hot dog little dog , german shepard.

something intelligent and your first rule is temperment, temperment, tempement in deciding after you meet dogs.
