When my dogs are ill, my vet suggests hamburger, rice, and scrambled eggs mixed together...he says it's easy on their stomachs. The dogs love it, and it's something you could do at home before you get out to the store.

For now you can boil up some hamburger and rice. They feed it to sick dogs, so your dog could survive on it for a day or so while you buy more food.

Chicken scraps mixed with cooked rice, peas, and carrots would be good. That's what was in the canned stuff my vet gave my dog when she had tummy trouble.

I feed my pup rice and an egg if I'm out of dog food. He loves it and it's good for his coat.

I would just go buy more dog food. A dog's stomach and system are very sensitive and they don't do well with a sudden meal change. You could end up with diarrhea for several days!

You can feed him some raw meats like steak, hamburger, chicken, etc) They will all be fine for your dog. Make sure you don't feed him too much or else he will get used to it and he won't want to eat his dog food. Some raw meats will be fine.

Boiled chicken and rice. When an animal is just getting over diarrhea or vomiting this is what the vet tells you to give her. Something bland.

the only really healthy replacmentfor him is cooked mince and cooked rice, not to much,he will eat it well and enjoy it (only a replacement meal do not feed as a regular meal)it is rich in vitamins and has a good amount of fat, dont feed that to him more than needed as if used regularly it can make him fussy about eating other food as well as making him ill

Hamburger, how about steak, maybe chicken.
These are all things your dog can eat, and are better for him raw.
