okay im finally kennel training my dog
and she wont stop barking she went potty ate and drank all the etc. now she back in her new bigger kennel and she wont shut up and she'll from a whine to a bark to a wierd sound
and then she'll stop and im worried she gonna wear out her voice

my dog has floppy ears. he is extremely active and shakes his head a lot. so, the scab keeps breaking open...and scabs over again. but, it's taking a long time to heal. i don't think the area can be stitched because it's such a pliable/tender area. and, i DO NOT want to put him under to perform stitches (vet of course). but, he would not be calm enough to get stitches awake/concious.

would some superglue on the tip help stregthen the scab? i could probably put some on the scabbed area when he's calm.

thanks in advance for ideas/advice.

I love great danes and am considering owning one. Anyone who has a great dane/has had one can you please pass on some helpful experiences? I have learned a lot about this breed-it's size, feeding, excercise, etc. Also, I have a small beagle who is very friendly. Are there goign to be any problems? Lastly (your opinion) what do you think of the names Dolce or Solstice? (I know I need to meet the personality of the dog first, am just getting an idea first). Thanks a bunch

Just had my Rat Terrier spayed a few days ago and she has become quite nasty to me and my son when we get near her. She's growling and even nipping (hasnt bitten yet) if we get too close. I dont want to punish her for it, but I wont tolerate that kind of aggression much longer. She's normally very sweet

i am starting to volunteer at the local spca next week, but i am worried that i may bring something home to my dog. my husband is freaking out saying i am going to bring some dog or cat disease home. some are saying to change clothes, change shoes, ect. before coming home. am i putting my dog at risk for a disease? she is completely healthy and up to date on all of her shots. thanks.

So I hear a lot of people say that if you spay or neuter your animals (mine are pitbulls) they will behave a lot better. Then there are also stories about after you do spay and neuter them they will become more aggressive, mostly males. What is true, or will most likely happen?

my toy poodle is pregnant??'she keeps going into the neighbors yard,and they have a mutt.i dont want her to get pregnant by this dog!!!

I made a forum a while ago, and it just isn't taking off. It seemed to be doing well, but it has become sort of dead. I really want this forum to be a good one, I worked really hard at it. Any ideas about what I can do to make the forum more appealing, advertising for it, or just getting the members to stay active? Does it look okay? Please critique my forum and tell me what is wrong?

My two year old Dane has become aggressive toward other dogs in the past few months. In the past two days he has bitten two other male dogs. He is not neutered and we would like to breed him someday, so we would like to avoid neutering him. He is a great dog, a few months ago I took him to a dog park with 80-100 other dogs and he was great. At the time he was off the leash and I was the only human with him. Last month the dog and I moved to another country, to join my husband. We moved from a house to an apartment, but my dog (Apollo) goes for long walks several times a day. He has been aggressive towards two other dogs in the complex in the past two days. Both times my husband and I were present and Apollo was on a leash. Today he drew blood, I was shocked he is usually a very freindly dog. Please help!!

I have put in an application to adopt a puppy from a local shelter. She is being fostered so living in a home environment. She is a german wirehaired pointer mix. I will get to meet her next weekend. I would like to be able to ask questions that will help me make a informed desision about whether or not to bringing this puppy home. She is 7 months old and already spayed.

Does anyone have a list of questions one should ask? Here are some things I have thought about:

Is she house trained? socialized ? (animal, children) What is her temperament and has she been temperament tested? What is her medical history? Is she up to date on shots? Can I get all the vet records and talk to the vet?

Any good questions or web pages that you could think of that would help me would be welcome.

it says on the instructions that i should feed it to him in one piece but he wont do it. i tried everything including forcing it but he wont budge. only it i break it up, will he eat it in his food. will it still do the same affect or will it not do its job at all?
