Oxy Clean works good for urine odor, just mix it up strong and apply it to the urine areas, or you could also try hydrogen peroxide, but I'd go with the oxy. Also, try this...if you feed your dog treats with chlorophyll added it will lower the dogs urine ph, which will stop it from burning and yellowing grass and it will also stop it from having a strong odor. Pet stores sell biscuits and tablets but theyre not cheap. I found a more inexpensive and healthier idea, which really works, I feed my male dog a sheet of "nori" which is sheets of dried seaweed that one would use to wrap sushi (you can find it at Giant Eagle for around $2 dollars for a pack of ten sheets) I wet the sheet and feed it to him, he LOVES it! Sometimes I feed it to him straight sometimes i tear it up and mix it in with his food, always wet it though it could possibly get caught in the throat if its eaten dry. He used to have real strong almost skunky smelling urine, but within a day of feeding him the seaweed, which is loaded with chlorophyll, the smell was completely gone from his urine, I dont notice any urine odors at all anymore. Depending on the size of dog you might not even have to feed him much to do the trick, my dog weigh about 65lbs. Also, my vet said seaweed is very healthy for dogs.

Try a mixture of biological washing powder and white vinegar in a hot water solution, be generous with it and scrub it in well with a stiff bristle broom - the enzymes in the powder will destroy the bacteria causing the smell and the vinegar will help to neutralise it so that the dog can't smell the traces.
Then put down a dog repellant (crystals or a spray) to discourage the habit and invest in a pee post or mat and put it elsewhere in the yard so that the dog gets used to going elsewhere.

First of all, you need to train your dog not to urinate there and once the dog stops, then clean with vinegar. There are specific products you can buy to get rid of the smell. You will need to do it more than once though, probably several times, eventually the smell should go away, but unless you can train the dog not to go there, it will be futile. Also try baking soda to absorb the odor.
Good luck!

If you go to a petshop you can find some products that can help you. Try Pet Smart (www.petsmart.com). If it doesn't help, you should try lisoform, but you need to keep your dog away from the varanda for at least one hour after you applied the lisoform. Also read the manufacturer's instructions on how to apply etc.

If it's in the wood, it's there. You can try a product made for deskunking, that contains 'Triclosan', but I doubt it will ever totally be gone, because of chemical bonding.
