My 3 year old beagle pees on two door mats randomly, neither of which door do we ever use to let her outside. I never catch her in the act, and I have replaced the door mats three times. She never pees on the door mat at the door she does go out of. I won't keep a dog who pees in the house, but I'd hate to give her up. My kids adore her! I need help to know how to stop this.

Hes a small dotson and mix and this happened once before and the vet suggested a 24 hour fast for him. I have tried that again and he still seems to be vomitting all the time.

His story had me in tears this morning when I read it. Maybe you've seen it: he saved his 4 year old master's life by taking on the pit bulls that were about to attack him. He was so badly injured by them that the vet had to put him down.

And do you think people should keep dangerous breeds like pit bulls?

Well, I'm getting a new puppy soon. (A terrier mix ..or something) And I just need a heads up about what I'm gonna need and everything. How to potty train it, what type of food, etc. I have a dog, but it's been awhile since I've had a little puppy and I'm sure taking care of them is different

But are not all dog breeds Mutts in fact. they are crosses on dog types which eventually reach a standard. They are all mutts if you think of it that way.

What about kettle corn? I'm eating some with my dog sitting next to me and I thought I would lay down a piece to see if she liked it and she did. I just want to make sure it's not bad for her.

We recently adopted an awesome new dog who is 7 months old and we adore her. The problem is that she is still a bit "chewy". A few stuffed animals and a pair of pants, no problem, but recently I caught her gnawing at my kitchen table leg! Yes, we have loads of bones for her to chew on so what is the best way to break her of this habit? I have loads of nice furniture I'd like to preserve without having to crate her all the time.
Any suggestions?

Today we buried Liberty and I was in tears and still am crying. My parent's are acting like nothing has happened at all.
hello!?, we just lost a beloved member of our family(even they have 4 legs instead of two). I'm still in shock and in a "time warp" . It usually happens to me when I lost a loved family member or beloved family animal memberof our family. Liberty was with us for 4 years. She was born in this house and died outside her birthplace. I still cry when I look at Scruffy's and Liberty's pictures. After all they were a father and she was his daughter. I even cry going outside where I saw her for the last time alive .
I know it's gonna be tough for while. but hopefully Precious and I will learn to move on together I hope. After all Precious knew Liberty for about 6 months and I suspect that they became good friends/pals.sleepmates etc..

Why is easier for some people to move on regarding pet's death's and harder for those who they were closer to move

My puppy is really sore and whining a bit after her 9 week vaccination. It hurts her to move around and she yelps when we pick her up. She just had her vaccination 2 hours ago.

We called the emergency number, but they said unless she vomits, she should be ok by tomorrow. But she is really hurting. Anyone experience this before?

She moved around a lot while the vet gave her the shot.

My 2yr old female Schnauzer has what appears to be a hemroid. She is in the middle of heat. Is this common for dogs in heat? Is there something over the counter she can be treated with or do I need to take her to the vet?

She was spayed this morning, and the doc said let her do whatever she feels like doing - going up and down stairs is okay. But after I brought her home she won't even get out of bed. I had to take her out to PP and she did, but was very wobbly and laid down in the grass afterwards. She won't eat - only take water. Is this normal? She feels cold so she's not running a fever.

I need to know of good foods for great danes. Healthy foods. So that excludes Iams, Purina, science diet and foods sold at super markets. Thanks
