You can't train shedding. Shedding depends on many factors, however the first thing I'd do to improve the shedding is make sure I was feeding quality dog kibble.
Canidae, Wellness, Innova or Artemis are quality kibbles. http://www.artemiscompany.com

I will definetly come back to this post and see if anyone gave you a good answer. We have a Siberian Husky 9 months old that is shedding her first coat. Lots of fun...
Another post suggested that you trim her and that is a great idea... Also, we have to brush our dog out every day. We probably get your dogs weight in hair these days. But, our dog sheds ALOT a couple of times year and the rest is manageable.
We also have hard wood floors and have found we have an easier time with her than we did with our carpeted floor.
Good luck

There is a medicine you can purchase in the pet stores that is supposed to help the dog not shed as much. Of course, you can always call your Vet. Call the office and ask one of the girls about it. You don't have to take your dog in and pay.
I am not sure I would like to give my dog medicine that makes them not shed. I don't know how good that is for them. That is why I would check with your doctor.
You can always take him/her to a groomer and do it that way too. I have seen Poms groomed to look like little lions. It is cute.
That is why after my last dog had to be sent back to heaven I researched the breeds to match one with my life style and ones that did not shed.....Oh, how wonderful it is with no fur flying every where. I would try the grooming thing.

You cannot train a dog to not shed, it is just a thing of nature. If you want a dog that does not shed then you should have bought a non shedding dog like a shih tzu or lhasa apso or poodle. But then again you strike me as being a very silly person who does not have a clue!! Train a dog not to shed. Must be a joke, right???????????

Shedding is a natural biological process that the dog has no control over , and therefore can not be trained.
You can take some control over how much the shedding impacts your home by diet and grooming.
I dog that is on a top quality diet will shed less, and be generally healthier.
Regular grooming will 1) help remove died fur before it falls out in an inconvenient place, and stimulate the health of the skin and help reduce shedding.
Depending on the gender of you dog and whether it has been neutered will impact how much and how often it sheds. Females that are not spayed will typically shed heavily after their heat cycle. Spayed females are more likely to do a rolling shed, which means that they will shed regularly through out the year. Males typically shed very heavily twice a year once in the sprig and once in the fall. Females will also shed more at these seasons that at others.
Be thankful that you do not have a larger double coated breed such as a Samoyed or Keeshond as these breeds shed as much per square inch of skin, and have much more area of skin than your Pomeranian does.

Unfortunately you can't, but make sure you brush her every day and that will help. You can buy a brush called the furminator (sometimes available on Ebay) that helps get out the loose under coat, works greats.

You don't train shedding. My advice is to give him a haircut every so often that way he doesn't shed as much!
Hope this helps!
