What about kettle corn? I'm eating some with my dog sitting next to me and I thought I would lay down a piece to see if she liked it and she did. I just want to make sure it's not bad for her.

Nope it's fine. Give them unsalted and unbuttered so they dont get dehydrated. I bite the kernel part off of the corn then feed it to my dog so he doesn't choke.

Dogs typically like popcorn, and their is no immediate health danger from having some unless the dog is diabetic: however, popcorn as a straight carbohydrate is not a nature food for canines and should therefore only be given in limited quantities. Additionally you should cut back on other food when you dog gets Popcorn or the dog could easily gain weight.

I agree totally with talbot... Your obviously not going to feed your dog only popcorn ~ Just as a snack as your eating it which is definitely NOT too much.....My cocker spaniel had to have her share every time I made it and she loved the treat!!!
It will not hurt her/him even if she/he coughs a kernel (?) back up as obviously your going to feed the Popped ones.....
Don't worry....have fun sharing your snack with your pet!!!
Mine had to have SOME of just about everything including tomatos, cauliflower (raw) broccoli (raw), etc, etc......
The only thing dogs cannot have (they say) is chocolate although mine even got to eat a TINY piece....
She lived a long and healthy life !!!
That would include kettlecorn

My dog loved popcorn...we had to give her away because of my daughter's allergic. I wanted to respond to the person that said people food is bad for dogs...apparently with the recent outbreak of bad dog foods, food owners make at home would be much safer!

People food in general should not be given to dogs, but I'm sure we are all guilty of doing it. Popcorn (in moderation) shouldn't hurt your dog.

dogs love pop corn, but sometimes the hulls will get stuck in their throats and they will cough.
