I just had a 5 ft tall 194 ft of fence put around my back yard for him. He seems to enjoy having the run of the yard, but he barks and barks and barks at everything walking by, at cars, at me, and at anything he sees. It has to be driving the neighbors crazy. What is my dog thinking and how can I get him to stop barking?

I have just spent a lot of money on a puppy. I spent a long time researching a reputable breeder. On the website it says that all puppies have their first innoculation. When I checked on Saturday the breeder told me he hadn't. The puppy was also brought out to me and I never got the chance to see him with its mother.

When I arrived she was professionally grooming another dog but the kennel assistant said my pup could do with a bath!

It took me over an hour to travel there and the handover was unbelievably quick - the lady barely spoke apart from answering my question.

I'm really underwhelmed with the customer care and cross for not saying anything at the time.

Teddy is fine and so far in good health but should I bill the breeder for the cost of the first innoculation and should I be unduly worried about not seeing it with its mother?

I've tried wetting her food with hot water, to no avail. She's in perfect health and her mood is very good.

i would really love to buy a honey coloured chiauhah dog, but my husband says he will never let me own one as they are nasty nipping little yappers of a dog... my cousin owns one and she is the most quiet docile chiahuah you would ever see.... i want to know are chiauhah's really as bad as my husband says, or is it just a breed stereotype???

I will try to be as unbiased as I can about this, based on what I can remember from what I have read/observed about dogs, although I must confess that (as crazy and foolish as it may sound) I prefer to support a dog being vegetarian (unless its weak and unhealthy), while accepting both a non-veg and veg diet as equally valid for a dog diet. But I'd rather sit on the fence than be somebody to offend/push my views onto others!

Ok, so unfortunately I have a character limit so I'll just include my list of pros and cons as an additional detail(s).

I want to screem. I need to answer her but I think I need to take some time to think carefully what to say. Puppy is too young, she was born in June of 2006 and she will have puppies in May (end of May). I breed my female when she was 26 months old. Oh, I just don't know what to tell her. Please help. I feel responsible too.

My vet said if we are going to breed her to do it as soon as possible to reduce the option of mammary cancer. He suggested her second heat. Having her first heat at the age of seven months i was wondering if she will be old enough on her second heat to have puppies? she will probably be around 13 months old.
