Hes a small dotson and mix and this happened once before and the vet suggested a 24 hour fast for him. I have tried that again and he still seems to be vomitting all the time.

It sounds like it's time to go in and see the vet in person.

It could be many things. Obviously the dog has not been eating as the vomit is clear.

Maybe it's time to do a full blood screening to rule out many things. If something shows positive then you can act upon it.

Toy dogs can dehydrate and go into hypoglycemic shock very quickly so you must find out what is wrong and get him back eating again.

Sometimes this happens when dogs are very hungry. But hunger may not be the case. So take your dog back to the vet because he may have some kind of inflammation in his stomach or an allergy.
