We call them "Rotten Pittys".
Bad Idea.

I don't think anyone beside a backyard/ newpaper breeders are breeding those in the states it is really the small breeds that everyone is crossing and selling in the pet stores, I have seen alot of mixed mastiff and pit like cane corso and pit, preso and pit, bull mastiff and rott, which is a really cool looking mix breed, that seems to be less protective than a rott and more lay back like a mastiff, but i have only seen these mixes in the paper. I think alot of people have been mixing pits and american bull dogs as well as English bull dogs and just calling them pits since the pit bull breed includes most of the bully breeds. I have seen alot of pit and rott mixes some are not impressive at all while others turn out with a neat read color and big size, if you are interested in a pit rott mix looking dog get a cane corso or maybe a american bull dog as the pure breed large dogs are easier to find

That's not a hybrid. Its just a fancy name for a mutt. That's all "designer dogs" are - just trying to make backyard breeding and accidents sound fancy. And there are SO many Pitbull and Rottie mixes in shelters across the country you could adopt as many as you want.

I agree with ChrisM their are alot of these mixed breeds in the shelters all over. No responsible person would breeds these two on purpose. Just call your local shelter, that's where you will find one.

It's not a designer breed...I am sick of the 'designer' breeds. They're "certified mutts"
You can find the same thing at a shelter, and it won't cost you $1000.00 dollars.

people don't usally breed that mix couse they tend to have a bad temperment. but a mix breed at a shelter could give you something close. a rot and a lab is a great mix! go to your shelter a rot shelter or a pit rescue might have what you are looking for:)

Call them what you want...they are still mutts and could have temperment issues since no responsible breeder would breed one.

They are mutts, just as any other designer dog.

Sadly, most of them end up as "pound puppies".
