I recently bought a 10 weeks old puppy home. Since I’m working 8am to 5pm daily, I do not have much time to train her and I’m currently putting her in her playpen attached to her crate. But she is peeing and potty all over the place. I try introducing her to puppy pad and paper by playing with her on it. When I see she shows sign that she want to pee pee, I put her on the puppy pad (already put some of her peepee on it) but she won't pee instead she'll walk away from the pad and pee. Then when I stop her and put her back on the puppy pad, she won't continue. I cover all her area with papers and a puppy pad nicely tape down to the floor and leave her for her sleeping time; then wake up finding the papers and puppy pad all torn up. What should I do?

My dog is 5 1/2 weeks pregnant, she was urinating earlier, and the urine was normal. Then something kind of long and mucas like came oput from there somewhere. Is this like when a pregnant woman looses her mucas plug before labor ? She's acting fine, except as she's getting further along, she mopes around and wants to be glued to me.

NORFOLK, Va. — Washington Redskins players Clinton Portis and Chris Samuels defended Michael Vick on Monday by ridiculing the notion that dog fighting is considered a crime.

In an interview with WAVY-TV, Portis said that if the Atlanta Falcons quarterback is charged and convicted of being involved in a dog fighting operation, then authorities would be "putting him behind bars for no reason."

"I don't know if he was fighting dogs or not," Portis said. "But it's his property; it's his dogs. If that's what he wants to do, do it."

Portis said dog fighting is a "prevalent" part of life.

Portis, a native of Laurel, Mississippi, added: "I know a lot of back roads that got a dog fight if you want to go see it. But they're not bothering those people because those people are not big names. I'm sure there's some police got some dogs that are fighting them, some judges got dogs and everything else."

"Politicians," added Samuels, who found it hard to keep from giggling while Portis

I'm getting a chihuahua puppy in a few days and after looking around on a few websites I saw that they actually have litterboxes for dogs (I had no idea, I thought it was just for cats lol). So has anyone on here tried training their dog using a litterbox, and does it really work?

i just got an american eskimo about maybe 4 days ago and she is about 2 months old. im in the process of potty training her and shes doing good. the next step i wanna do is maybe teach her some tricks or leash train her because she goes crazy with a leash on. Is 2 months too early to be teaching them these things? i know they dont start to get dependent until 6 months. Is there anything i need to know? im feeding her Kibbles n Bits..is that okay for her?

How am I supposed to get my 80 + pound dog to roll over? Also, is there anything that I can do to make him obey better? It's like he has selective hearing.... Also, heh, I taught him to shake, oh, yeah he does it, but sometimes when I'm sitting in a chair reading and he wants attention he'll try to shake and it scratches up my leg.... I don't like to fuss at him because he's soooo sweet and I can hardly ever get mad at him. HELP?

Hi I feel it necessary to say that Bichons are fine with heart murmurs and dont have eye problems , unlike what one breeder in the UK is stating. I own several wih heart problems and they are fine. I judge bichons and have had them since 1982 and no one knows more than I do . This one breeder has stepped on all our toes and doesnt know enough unlike me and some others like Maureen and John. I know they have been instrumental in spreading info about her and I wish them well .If you have think that bichons are affected please say so now.Good luck Bichonlover keep up the good work about breeding . We need to make a living dont we !

After me asking what to feed my puppies that are about to turn 6 weeks old, I saw that many people said that Canidea was the best. I have called EVERYWHERE within an hour of me and NO ONE SELLS IT! Not the vets, feed stores, grocers or retail, or Pets Mart. A feed store out here has been trying to get it for a while but for some reason they won't send thier order. I also went to the websight to see where this dog food is sold and the closest place is a lil over an hour away!

I am not gunna use Eukanuba, Iams, or any of that other crap food, as you all say. What is the next best food to feed these dogs. I heard some people say that "Wellness" is good? If I can't find this food eaither....what else do you guys suggest? Thanks for the answers! This is so frustrating! Liveing out here it is hard to find the good dog foods! Everyone seems to carry the recalled or crappy brands! Thanks!
