Hey! I just got a new puppy! He is 9 wk old border collie puppy! All Black & white.. very goofy but also a big sucky. I cannot seem to come up with a name for him! Anyone got any good suggestions?

AWWW! I LOVE border collies, I had one growing up a female named Miss Mattie, I just got a puppy too she is 6 months old and also a border collie, We named her Abby. I also have 2 cats One orange one named Jacob and a grey/white one named Suzie.
When selecting names for my animals I like to use "people" names, I usually keep the pet for about a week or two before deciding on wich name will suit him or her. I like the name Benny for a boy, maybe you could consider that?
Also you can look up baby names on the internet and see if you like any of thoes.

Krull the Warrior King. I have a border collie too. Digger is his name. We went to the beach at Lake Erie the day we got him and he started digging in the sand. He has been Digger ever since. How about Flash or Sparky? Does he have any unusual of strange characteristics. White feet? Sox or Boots.

How about Fly? (Not the bug!) There was a border collie in the movie Babe by that name. The farmer in the movie named the dog that because they are a breed used to herd sheep and they are very fast. When they are herding they take off after the sheep like they are flying.

I reckon Oreo is a good name for a border collie, or I know alot of other border collies there names are:
Jack, Locky, Jaffa, Henry, Ziggy, Seeka, Clive. Thats all the border collies in my dog obedience class.

Border Collies have lots of energy and can run all day if they feel the need. You said the pup's a little goofy also.

but i suggest you look into his eyes and I'm sure a name will come to you but try letting your dog pick his own name this is what i did i just sat calling different names out and when my pup came running up more than once to a name i opted for that name which was Yogi Bear Yogi for short

I new a dog named Wishbone and he was AKA B*o*n*e*r.
Oh and since he is the complete opposite how about Jackel and he could wear a spike collar
